Tony greeted me with a handshake when I dropped off my car this morning at 7:00 am, without an appointment, because my a/c was not functioning properly (on the hottest day of the year). Apparently the co car this morning at 7:00 am, without an appointment, because my a/c was not functioning properly (on the hottest day of the year). Apparently the condensation drain had become clogged and water was entering the vehicle and dampening the passenger side floor. To my dismay, Tony explained that this is not something that is typically covered on the vehicle's warrantee - however because I was a good customer, the vehicle had only 21,000 miles on it, I had purchased more than one vehicle there, and have been bringing them in for service there for years, he said he would see what he could do. I know he had all that information on the computer in front of him, but it was nice to be recognized as a good, repeat customer (not everyone does that). I sent him a text at 11:00 and he said he had taken care of it. Within 15 minutes I was picked up by the courtesy van and he greeted me, key in hand, when I arrived. The drain had been cleared of debris, no charge, and the a/c was up and running (thank God). I almost never write these types of reviews, but felt compelled to do so today. I have dealt with Tony more than once, both for this vehicle as well as my wife's, and he is always pleasant, smiling, polite and courteous - no pressure to spend any more money than I need to, and that is why I continue to come back. I don't know how to officially rate his performance on this particular review, but this should be considered a FIVE STAR review. Thank you More
My review on purchasing this car was posted up under Anthony Kent's personal reviews. I live in NYC and made a promise to service my car (as much as possible) at Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough. I br Anthony Kent's personal reviews. I live in NYC and made a promise to service my car (as much as possible) at Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough. I brought my Odyssey in for the 10,000 mile service and was seen promptly by Tony. Tony was extremely professional, polite, friendly and above all else genuine. He performed all services with no hidden fees, tricks, or agenda, like trying to sell you some part you don't need. I noticed a review that complained and gave this dealership a bad rating. however He stated nothing in regards to the service he received, only the price. Why would you authorize the work and service and pay for it, then complain about the price? all pricing is disclosed before you pay for it obviously. It makes no sense. Regardless, Tony told me all the costs associated with the service and how long it would take. I will gladly bring my van back again without a doubt. Fantastic service department and great service advisers that help you along the process! More
I brought my Accord in for service last week and there ended up being several things wrong with it. I bought this car used and am the 3rd owner so was expecting some issues and Jimmy was very friendly, h ended up being several things wrong with it. I bought this car used and am the 3rd owner so was expecting some issues and Jimmy was very friendly, honest, and very helpful with explaining what really needed to be done first. I'm a college student and being able to prioritize things really helped. He took the time to answer any questions I had and his expertise really helped to explain what was actually wrong with the car was also greatly appreciated! Driving away I noticed that the problem was actually fixed in my car right away. This was my first experience with Herb Chambers Honda, and Jimmy made the experience a pleasurable one. More
$118 per hour for labor? This is ridiculous. Parts were marked up 20% OVER list price from the Honda dealership. i.e. $99 a $110 for a rear strut (not the whole assembly with spring)... list price is $142 marked up 20% OVER list price from the Honda dealership. i.e. $99 a $110 for a rear strut (not the whole assembly with spring)... list price is $142 on the Honda parts website. Herb Chambers charged me $160+ per strut. Same with rear brake discs... $52 at Honda parts list price however I was charged $82 for the brake discs. Again, $118 per hour for labor. is this dealership run by the government??? $19.95 tacked on for an environmentally safe procedure. Really?!!! Haven't they already raked their customers over the coals with the $118/ hour labor? Is Albert Einstein working on my car? The only benefit here is they run your car through a really bad car wash at no charge and vacuum some of the interior. More
Our last two times were: An inspection sticker, my wife Our last two times were: An inspection sticker, my wife called and was told they were able to do till 5 pm, we got there in 15 minutes and they were Our last two times were: An inspection sticker, my wife called and was told they were able to do till 5 pm, we got there in 15 minutes and they were out. Nobody told the girl taking the calls. The time before that, they broke three out of 4 sensors on the tires of my Crosstour. I told them for nine months that something was wrong after getting the new tires, all they said was change in temperature. When I insisted on an inspection they agreed to fix their mistake. When they ordered the parts they then lost my phone number and could not figure out how to call me. So a letter came saying my information was out dated and I must call them to get my parts. As the expression goes, one hand does not know what the other hand is doing. We are not the only one, a friend of ours has as much fun with their service. More
I first met Jim Sweeney thru my auto advisor Todd Downs ( Central One F.C.U.) Jim was very Professional and very helpful in finding the perfect vehicle for me (2012 Honda Accord LX w/15,000 miles) for a very Central One F.C.U.) Jim was very Professional and very helpful in finding the perfect vehicle for me (2012 Honda Accord LX w/15,000 miles) for a very fair price. Jim was very easy to deal with and seemed very fair and explained everything. We test drove two vehicles and the second vehicle I drove I fell in Love with I bought. I got the vehicle home and on the following day I heard a small noise in the front end. So I called Jim Sweeney back and he said to bring it right in which I did the next day and I was in contact with Tony Ngo who was the Assistant Service Manager who found the problem within 15 minutes of me being there and an 1 1/2 later fixing the problem and the vehicle is running perfect. A special thanks goes out to Jim Sweeney and Tony Ngo of Herb Chambers Honda of Westboro. A very Satisfied Customer, Alvin C. Hulbert (Westboro, Ma) More

I’ve been going to Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough for many years now and am very happy with their overall service. My car is now over 7 yrs old and running well. They have great hours and a shuttle servi many years now and am very happy with their overall service. My car is now over 7 yrs old and running well. They have great hours and a shuttle service which is ideal, wireless access so I can work if I remain there. I have been to a few other service centers but keep returning to this Honda dealer. The prices are fair. I’ve asked for quotes and Honda is usually the same price and with a coupon from them, I actually save money. Oil changes, they never ask me to buy a new filter or upgrade my package. They have my car health on file, they review everything they did and make recommendations that make sense and never try to over sell. I recently had to get new tires and did see tires cheaper elsewhere, but because of time and convenience, bought them from Honda. A bit overpriced on the tires, but buying them there I didn’t have to pay for mounting and rotating them, and they even took my old tires to dispose of, and again, I had one of their coupons. So for the convenience, which is priceless to me, tires, I paid the same price I would have if I had gotten them elsewhere. And their customer service is wonderful and responsive. They call when they say they will, and are helpful when you have questions. More

I'm not usually the type to write reviews - but I feel it's necessary to give credit when credit's due. When I purchased my Accord New in 2010, I purchased an extended service "Tire & Wheel Guarantee" whi it's necessary to give credit when credit's due. When I purchased my Accord New in 2010, I purchased an extended service "Tire & Wheel Guarantee" which was designed to cover the tires against road hazards and the wheels against cosmetic damage caused by normal wear and tear. When I experienced a slow leaking tire, I brought the vehicle into the dealership to begin the process of filing a claim to see if it would be covered under the plan, and also noticed that my wheels had some cosmetic damage that needed to be addressed as well. Cindy, Tony & Don all helped to coordinate the services required, to make sure everything happened quickly, minimizing the inconvenience to me. They kept Rich, the service Director in the loop on everything, and he was also very helpful! Considering that I paid nothing out of pocket for all the services performed on my car, everyone was extremely attentive and considerate. I'm usually the type who stays away from dealership service departments because in general, car dealers don't have the best reputation, but I would happily recommend that friends & family bring their vehicles in to Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough for service!
