I came in to have a State Inspection, oil change and 'mystery squeal' identified.Tony was very attentive and had my best interest in mind. He went out of his way to help fix all the creaks and moans in 'mystery squeal' identified.Tony was very attentive and had my best interest in mind. He went out of his way to help fix all the creaks and moans in my 14 year old civic. Another problem was found with my transmission and Tony explained all the possible scenarios and costs associated with it. Luckily, a fluid change solved the problem. A possible cause for the squeal was identified by a tech and worked on, but unfortunately it is still with me. Other than that, the prices at Herb Chambers are competitive with my neighbourhood mechanic and with the use of coupons, even better. Tony is an irreplaceable asset to the Herb Chambers team. My overall experience was great, especially when there is dark roast coffee! More

When I purchased my ridgeline I also purchased simonize protection. The paint on the vehicle became very rough, I brought it in and was helped by Jimmy White. Although it wasn't a failure by Honda or Herb chambers Jimmy helped me contact Clear Coat and fill out a claim. After a couple of go rounds with them getting no where Jimmy helped me with the right answers that they wanted and paper work to file the claim. Finally the claim was accepted and a check for detailing by Herb Chambers was sent. The detailing came out perfect and the problem was resolved. After I made the appointment for the detailing and brought the vehicle in Jimmy saw me and again asked how I made out. I told him it was a success and thanked him very much for all he had done for me. I am sure I will purchase my next vehicle from Herb Chambers because of the great friendly service that I received from Jimmy!! I think you have a great employee here, I would hold on to him!!! However what happened today was not a good one. I drop off the car at 1.30pm for the appointment that was schedued 4 days ahead in advance with the request that I will need pickup and drop off. I drop off the car but had my wife in another car with the kids so I did not need a drop off but I did mention to the service rep that I willl need a pick up and a call prior to the pickup. Nobody calls till 4.30(the servicing was a one hr thing) so I call. The receptionist (Mia Williams) gets my name and tells me ``how sorry`` she was that nobody had called and she will be sending someone . Twenty minutes lates (live less than 5 minute drive from the dealership) I call again, the same receptionist tells me the shuttle had gone to a different address since there was a mix up as there was anotehr client with the same last name. Half an hour later I call again and she tells me the shuttle is on the way and might be filling gas or something else and again ``how sorry`` she was. Finally I drag my wife and three kids (one 2 month old) in the frigid cold and go pick up the car. THe other thing I found odd was that when I asked the service rep if there were any ``specials`` he said ``no`` but I was abe to google one that applied a $dollar discount to the transaction. The service rep asks me to get a print out so it can be applied (Why would I have to do so if I show him online whats being ofered) Last time I had requested a call prior to the pick up the shuttle showed up without prior notice and I had to get off the lawnmower direct into the shuttle. I hope the dealership can fix this issue and not get a bad reputation because of ineffeciency of a receptionist or service rep.
