We purchased a new 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour. Our salesman Jake was enthusiastic, knowledgable and eager to help us with our purchase. We went to the dealership with a figure in mind we were willing to spend and quickly negotiated the amount for our trade and the price of the new purchase. We decided to trade in our 2006 Honda Pilot even though it had low miles and was still under warranty because Honda was offering 1.9% interest. When I went back to the dealership to pick up my registration and get my inspection sticker Jake met me with a smile, thanked me again for my purchase and took care of me in a very timely manner. After getting my sticker and driving home I noticed a nick and dent in the passenger door. I immediately called Jake and he insured me Herb Chambers would take care of the issue. I went back today with the car to have the nick and dent checked and to report a manufacturer defect with the back driver side window. The service department was very professional and my car will be repaired next week. Jake saw me arrive today at the dealership and immediately greeted me, thanked me again, asked if everything was going well with the new car and assured me that he would stay on top of my issues with the car. I did not see him before I left there, but he called me a while later to make sure I was all set. I would recommend Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough as well as Jake to anyone interested in a Honda purchase. More

Have owned a 2008 Accord Coupe and love the car. The reason I recently purchased a 2010 Crosstour for my wife and out of the brand she owns currently is not just the Crosstour, but the people at the dea reason I recently purchased a 2010 Crosstour for my wife and out of the brand she owns currently is not just the Crosstour, but the people at the dealership, namely Norman Methe and Gregg Vitello. I've never met two of the most professional sales people in my 40 years of purchasing cars. Above all, the most honest sales people, no pressure and advocates of the consumer. Its rare to find a dealership you keep going back to. Why do people buy at a certain dealership? MOst of the time its price. The price I received was below the competition but beyond price, you want to deal with people you'd have in your own home. Herb Chambers can come to my home any time. Burt Faberman More

He knew I din't want my monthly payemnts to be outrageous and worked with me to get them down as low as possible. He was very knowledgeable with the car showing me all the different features the car had. Now that I've had the car for 4 days I like even more than the first day! Tom introduced us to Jim Sweeney. Jim is very down to earth, friendly, and professional. He spent about the entire day with my fiancee and I to pick out the exact car she wanted and answered every question we fired at him. Jim made our first car buying experience very fun and memorable. About 5 months after purchasing my fiancee's Honda Fit Sport we went back to Herb Chambers Honda because my car was on its way out. Jim was more than happy to help us out again. He spent the entire day with us figuring out what car would be the best solution for us and worked with what we could afford. I cannot say enough about Tom and Jim. My fiancee and I have purchased two brand new cars (2010 Honda Accord & 2010 Honda Fit Sport) from the Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough in the span of 5 months. We couldn't be happier. Overall a good experience. I bought a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid which was listed in their inventory. It took a couple of tries for them to actually get the car on-site, and then several more to coordinate Hybrid which was listed in their inventory. It took a couple of tries for them to actually get the car on-site, and then several more to coordinate the title. They actually let me buy the car before they had the title in-hand, which was unnerving as I was at the 7 day insurance and inspection limit before all the issues got resolved. Rich Merlino is a credit to Herb Chambers, he's relatively new but a straight shooter, didn't try the usual things I've heard "what are you looking to spend" and leaning on the extra protection coating crap or any of that type of stuff. Didn't come off as fake and let me take the car out for the test drive where I wanted to go, and not their standard course. He also didn't try and deter me from the car I knew I wanted. He helped me calm down when I had issues later with the financing department. Tommy Ao in the financing group is a fast talking, high pressure guy who almost made me regret buying the car at all. After I got him to walk back the stuff he was going through so fast, he wore me down and convinced to not go to my credit union for the lower rate he was offering (but only with the extended warranty attached of course). If you can get alternate financing up front and your bank/credit union is not over 3 hours away like mine was, I would take that option because even though I think I got an okay deal, that whole process just left me feeling used and abused. Fortunately the few hours I was with Rich more than made up for the financing experience, so I would recommend Herb Chambers to you if you have experience dealing with high pressure situations or are a better arguer than I am. The service department is nice enough and offers free (but slow) wifi access; it was very busy when I was in to have my inspection done. They got me in and out when they said they would, but by the time I got there (noonish) all the snacks were gone. No kids were in the play area but it looked nice. I'd certainly be in favor of more donut/snack runs and a better beverage selection (sodas or flavored water instead of just coffee and expressos) for the folks sitting in the service waiting area, but it was certainly better than other places I've visited. Bernardi Honda in Framingham still has the best waiting area I've ever been to, HC should probably try and emulate that one if possible with the mini desks for telecommuters, etc. More
