I would not have leased a car from Herb Chambers had it not been for Alex, Mike and Victor and how well they treated me. They were professional, courteous, polite, friendly, and patient with all my questions. They made the whole car leasing process -- which I had formerly dreaded -- easy and fun. I trusted them. An I love the Honda HRV they helped me lease. I don't know anything about cars and all the sales jargon and technical talk totally confuses and intimidates me. Alex, MIke and Victor did not talk down to me or try to "sell" or "spin" me or take advantage of my relative ignorance. They patiently listened to me explain what I was looking for and helped me get the right car for me. Victor took the time to carefully explain how the car worked, down to programming my music and Iphone. And then when I forgot half of what he had told me, he invited me to come back - and he went over all of it patiently again. He was great. Team Alex, Mike and Victor -- all winners. Thank you! More

I gave him a $500 deposit over the phone to hold the vehicle. Came in the next day around 10am and had a deal worked out by 10:30 am, very professional. Left with the kids for the day and came back around 3:30pm to sign the finance paperwork. Lascelle had all the paperwork ready to go and even workout a great rate and price of an extended warrantee. I have purchased a lot of cars over the years and this was by far the best experience I have ever had in the finance office. There were some issues with the delivery of my new car, however Herb Chambers Management steped-up and made it right. I would recommend Herb Chambers Honda of Boston. More

I was really annoyed that the process to close the deal took so long and was not user-friendly. Also was surprised that I had to drive around the first week without an inspection sticker and this was not explained to me by my salesperson! i like my car but did not care for the process. More

My first purchase was two years ago when I first moved to the state. I needed a good car for a good value quickly because my car would not pass Mass state inspection without a serious overhaul. They were able to walk me through every step of the process and everything went very smoothly. Now that I have a new, better paying job, I came in for a new vehicle. I loved the Honda Fit I purchased from them two years ago and asked to see their new and used availability for the same car. I took home a 2012 Honda Fit the same day. When I came in a few days later to finalize the paperwork, I was surprised that they asked how I liked the car. I said it was great and that I was very happy with it. They were happy to hear it but had an offer for me that I couldn't believe! They said they had anther Honda Fit, same color, 3 years newer, still under warranty, with fewer miles, and because I was a loyal customer, they could give it to me for less money than the one I had brought home. Now that's service! They did not have to present this offer to me. I was happy with the purchase and had signed the sale agreement. That they did shows me how much they value their customers. I (of course) took home the 2015 Honda Fit and look forward to many happy driving years with it. Special recognition goes to Scott Bregnard who worked tirelessly as my salesman to get me the best deal. Keith in finance is a wonderful man and Mike also helped us along the way. As a first time car buyer and a female I was Extremely nervous to purchase a new car on my own . I thought it would be a lot of back and forth trying to get to a middle ground . I did allot of research and read many delearship reviews, happy to say Herb Chambers did not disappoint. From the first contact with Phylisha who carefully addressed all my questions before I went to the delearship to Keith, the sales consultant, who did an excellent job verifying that my car would have all the bells and whistles i wanted .Easy as 1 2 3! What made this experience ever better was the service from keith's assistance Matt who explained any missing gaps and just provided me with so much information during my buying process. Lied to, given cold shoulder and not returning deposit I and my friend were looking for a Honda Civic 2017 LX. Scheduled a test drive. The sales representative was Ren, and he seemed okay when we shook han I and my friend were looking for a Honda Civic 2017 LX. Scheduled a test drive. The sales representative was Ren, and he seemed okay when we shook hands the first time we met. When we sat in the car for a test drive, I asked what was the difference between the 2016 and 2017 sedan. He said "I don't know...may be the recalls". Seriously? If I was selling something I would be more prepared than him. The guy did not show much interest in explaining the features, just navigated us back to the showroom. I already had an online quote that they claimed they would match, and they did. However, I wanted to negotiate, but we could not agree upon. Then walks in the sales manager Kevin Ward. He was pleasant to talk to, and also agreed to consider my deal if I finance through Honda. I said okay, and we left.Now what happened next is where I felt I was played with. Ren calls me next evening, and says "You have been approved for the loan at 0.9% and we can go ahead with the deal. I was happy, and went to see them next day. When I walked in, Ren did not greet us. He saw us coming in, and yet pretended like he didn't see us.We sat down in front of him , being greeted by his lukewarm "Hi". Then we asked him again, that the deal was xxx for 0.9% APR and he said yes. He then took our credit card and charged a deposit of $500. I don't know what happened next, Kevin walks in and says we could not get your loan approved for the interest, and I am sorry. Ren was thinking of a different deal when he called you. This is where knew I would not buy car from these people. This was one of their dirty sales tactics and frankly a fraud! How many responsibilities does this Ren have as a car salesman to make a mistake? Or I guess he is incompetent and better work on that first. I knew I was played and I walked out of there. They agreed to refund the deposit. It has been 2 weeks, and they haven't refunded the deposit yet. I went and talked personally, and the same " we will do it" song was sung. I had heard good things about Herb Chambers but being lied to is beyond the ethics of the business or even tactics. More
