Herb Chambers Ford in Braintree is a fantastic place for service. I have been there several times for service on my trucks and eventually bought a truck from them. I had the pleasure of meeting the service department representative, I believe his name was Tom last Thursday night. My 2011 Ford Ranger XLT pickup 6 cylinder was only giving me 7 miles per gallon! When I bought it 6 months ago I was getting 20 plus! I agreed to the $200 diagnostic fee, and when I went back to pick it up the next day Tom explained to me that there was nothing wrong with my truck! He asked me some questions pertaining to a remote start which I have, but never use, and asked me of my practices regarding idling. Well, I certainly idle an hour or two a day by virtue of my job. The Simple Solution was, don't idle! Well, he refused to charge me the $200 diagnostic fee that I had agreed to because he said he didn't do anything for me! They now have a customer for life!🙂 More
