Herb Chambers Ford in Braintree is a fantastic place for service. I have been there several times for service on my trucks and eventually bought a truck from them. I have never had the feeling that I have been overcharged or was misinformed about any work that may need to be done. Drew handled my last service perfectly and kept me informed throughout the work and even when something extra needed to be done, he was great in his explanation and got the work done promptly. I had the pleasure of meeting the service department representative, I believe his name was Tom last Thursday night. My 2011 Ford Ranger XLT pickup 6 cylinder was only giving me 7 miles per gallon! When representative, I believe his name was Tom last Thursday night. My 2011 Ford Ranger XLT pickup 6 cylinder was only giving me 7 miles per gallon! When I bought it 6 months ago I was getting 20 plus! I agreed to the $200 diagnostic fee, and when I went back to pick it up the next day Tom explained to me that there was nothing wrong with my truck! He asked me some questions pertaining to a remote start which I have, but never use, and asked me of my practices regarding idling. Well, I certainly idle an hour or two a day by virtue of my job. The Simple Solution was, don't idle! Well, he refused to charge me the $200 diagnostic fee that I had agreed to because he said he didn't do anything for me! They now have a customer for life!🙂 More
