After using Davidson Chevrolet in Malden for many years I was forced to find another dealership when they closed. I had two mechanics refer me to the same dealership and same service adviser. Lucky for me I was forced to find another dealership when they closed. I had two mechanics refer me to the same dealership and same service adviser. Lucky for me I was referred to Herb Chambers Chevrolet and a service adviser named Scott Lyon. Scott Lyon and service technician Jay Mendonca ( 23637) have been taking care of all my warranty and maintenance issues . The service received from both of these individuals is the number one reason I have been taking my Impala to Herb Chambers Chevrolet. Scott is a knowledgeable, dedicated and energized individual whose main purpose is to keep the customer happy by taking the necessary steps to get the vehicle serviced and or repaired correctly the first time around in a reasonable amount of time. Aside from being an excellent mechanic Jay is also very customer orientated. Walter Pollock who runs the Service Dept is a friendly hands on individual who comes out his office and helps out on the floor when things get busy. I have also had some dealings with Oren Seatton - Body Shop manager and Brian Gagnon - Asst Body shop Manager. These individuals are easy to work with and do an excellent job. Being a retired old Bell System “Ma Bell” Engineering Manager I appreciate good service and especially appreciate individuals who take the time to do it right the first time around. I started going to Herb Chambers Chevrolet in January 2010 and have not been to any other dealership since then. Herb Chambers has met my high expectations every time. I feel very comfortable going to this dealership knowing my car is in good hands. More
Hello everyone at Herb Chambers. I have had a recent brake issue with my 2007 Monte Carlo SS and after recent brake work I noticed the brakes grinding. I had dealt with Scott Lyon on all of my automotiv brake issue with my 2007 Monte Carlo SS and after recent brake work I noticed the brakes grinding. I had dealt with Scott Lyon on all of my automotive services and through his knowledge,professionalism and understanding my brake problems were resolved. The pads needed replacing as they were not performing properly. The brakes work great now. Scott Lyon and the service dept. are very knowledgeable and courteous and treat myself and all of the customers I've noticed with a high degree of respect and above all honesty. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced as well as buy future vehicles from Herb Chambers when needed. As always the entire staff is top notch and a great attitude. Thank You Ron Pease More

Initially terrible experience here. Service department was harried when interactin, slow in responding, rude and condescending. The fan was not blowing my a/c into my H3. I called the Herb Chambers Dealership and Scott squeezed me in and had my car fixed in about an hour. There was no charge as it was still under warranty. Scott gave be a bottle of cold water and I was on my way. I drive an hour to this dealership just because the service is amazing! I will continue to drive there as long as Scott is the Service Manager. He is professional, friendly and just a great guy. Thanks again Scott! More
Understood the problem and got my car right in. Then they finished when they said they would and at a rate better than the competition...even with another small issue I didn't know I had. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Scott on a few occassions when having my vehicle serviced. He always greets me with a friendly smile and remembers me by name... don't ask me how with all the cust occassions when having my vehicle serviced. Scott Lyons proved once again that customer service can be a very satisfying experience. He was diligent in his efforts to solve an ongoing issue with our Trailblazer's radio and I believe we have solved i be a very satisfying experience. Ever since then, if a problem with my vehicle arose I would contact Scott Lyon. He had always been a tremendous help in solving my car problems with his expertise and fair pricing. This week I had a problem with my vehicle, and I was very concerned money wise. Scott assessed the problem and came back to me with a solution to the problem as well as a very fair price. This was a great relief to me, having 2 children is college and another one on his way. Money is rather tight right now, and Scott was very understanding. I felt very comfortable speaking to him, and he treated me with great kindness and respect. I am very grateful to be able to go to him for advice regarding my car. Although he is kind and considerate, Scott is also a true professional. He takes care of business in a way that enhances the quality of your company.
