I am from PENNSYLVANIA and Chip found the exact car I wanted and gave me the deal of a lifetime - all in about 4 hours!!! When you see the Lexus commercials and they describe the experience of buying and owning a Lexus - Chip and Hennessy Lexus set the standard. It is the easiest car I have ever purchased. When my wife wants to get a new car, Chip will be the first phone call. Thank you!!!!! More
Excellent Purchase Experience I just purchased a 2014 Lexus RX350 from Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta. I had contacted several dealership in the Atlanta area and surrounding states and I just purchased a 2014 Lexus RX350 from Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta. I had contacted several dealership in the Atlanta area and surrounding states and almost purchased the vehicle from another dealership but Don Bonura was able meet my desired price. Don was prompt in responding to all e-mails quickly and even picked me up on the day of purchase and brought me to the dealership. He demonstrated all the vehicle features. I actually initially contacted Don Bonura via e-mail and upon my initial dealership visit, he was not available so I met Mike Kitchens who educated me all the vehicle features and even thanked me for my business when I went in 2 days later to purchase the vehicle. Overall, great experience with sales person and finance manager. It seems that Hennessy Lexus puts a significant emphasis on customer satisfaction. I did not experience any high-pressure sales from either finance manager or sales person. Would highly recommend this dealership. More
Chip is the man! I never thought buying a car would be that easy! I wanted to buy a new luxury sports sedan and wasn't sure which one to get between Lexus IS250, BMW 3 I never thought buying a car would be that easy! I wanted to buy a new luxury sports sedan and wasn't sure which one to get between Lexus IS250, BMW 328 or the Audi A4. Chip made my decision easy by pointing out how reliable lexus is. His communication and quick responses made things easier. He even got me the same exact specifications I would like to have in my car including the deep sea mica which is tough to get. If you ever want to buy a Lexus, make sure you contact Chip! Mike Hudgens was so clear and helpful in detailing the financing aspect of the deal. He was patient and got everything done so quickly. Working with The Dream Team of Chip Whatley and Mike Hudgens I have bought many cars in my 68 years, including four previous Lexus cars with Mike Hudgens when he was previously in sales. When it came time to replace my wife's 2001 LX470 with 54,375 miles on the odometer ( not a typo ), of course I called Mike. I knew from previous communications from Hennessy Lexus that Mike was now in finance, but I knew he would refer me to a great sales associate. Mike connected me with Chip Whatley ( who claims on his card to be with Hennessy for ten years, yet he looks to be 21 years old ! ), and I have been totally satisfied with Chip's performance. Communication is vital in every business, and from the very beginning of our business relationship Chip kept me informed about the process but did not call or email me too frequently. My favorite example of Chip's devotion to excellence in customer service came when I told him that I did not have time to bring my wife to the dealership to see the car we wanted due to business pressures and an upcoming surgery. He graciously volunteered to bring the car to our home during a weekday afternoon rush hour... on his day off. Mike is a great ambassador for Hennessy Lexus, and I have always been impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of the business. Mike made leasing very simple, presenting me with an array of options which made my decision easy. While I am disappointed that Mike is no longer in sales, he stayed involved with my transaction from beginning to end, giving me a comfortable feeling that I was in good hands. Aside from missing our 2001 LX470, which was like a member of the family, I have been totally satisfied with the entire process of leasing our new Lexus GX460. Michael was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He really made us feel welcome. The dealership is fantastic. I admit, I have never been in a Lexus dealership before but I have been in a lot of other ones and there is really no comparison. From the handsome woodwork to the tasteful and comfortable furniture there was an elegance to the entire building. While all dealerships will offer coffee, rarely are you offered a variety of complimentary beverages, snacks and not just wi-fi access but terminals to access it. The entire staff went out of their way to be courteous and welcoming. The ladies at the cashier counter made paying a pleasure. The gent in the parts department was fun and I really enjoyed chatting with him. Of the several people I spoke to in passing not one failed to offer a smile and warm greeting. We live 100 miles from Hennessy, but we now plan on visiting them for all of our servicing needs and will, in all probability, be buying our next Lexus from them. Which, my wife has informed me we will be buying to replace this one when the time comes. And apparently Lexus' (Lexi?) are addictive and it doesn't take long to catch the addiction. Don Bonura at Hennessey Lexus provided the most outstanding of service. In particular, I first met Don about 2 yrs ago when inquiring about Lexus loaner sales. To my surprise, when I was ready to make a car purchase decision in Nov/Dec 2013, I went back to Hennessey and he remembered absolutely everything about our previous conversation and so with no waste of time, we took it from there. I really had to put Don to work because the particular color and final vehicle choice had to be shipped into Atlanta from an out of state dealer. Don kept in touch with me throughout the whole transaction process - all worked well with an early delivery and no shipping charges! However, thanks to Chip Whatley (sales) and Mike Hudgens (financing), this second experience was phenomenal! Both gentlemen are very personable, committed to both the product and customer satisfaction, and they were both simply a joy to speak with. Chip received our notice from the on-set with his quick responses to my wife's on-line inquiries, regardless what time of day she sent them. He was very thorough in his responses, and his estimates up front relative to what he could do for us in purchasing a RX350 and in assessing our trade-in value on our CT200h were pretty much spot-on. He spent significant time answering all of our questions and going over features of the automobile with my wife (primary driver). He is the consummate professional who makes you feel like you're the only customer that matters (although I know he treats everyone similarly). Mike Hudgens was very helpful in explaining the financing, the warranties available, and what each option provides. He certainly came across as looking out for our best interests. Although we ended up spending almost the entire afternoon right up to closing, we did not feel pressured and all that time spent with these gentlemen was well worth it and very much appreciated. I will recommend Hennessy Lexus to everyone here in Middle Georgia, and will refer Chip and Mike by name. Thanks for a great car, and thanks for the great experience in selecting and buying it.
