I've been sitting on writing this review for almost a year because I didn't want to be impulsive and I wanted to see if I still cared about my experience with this LR location a year later. So, if you're catching my drift, yep I still care and I still to this day tell people how bad of an experience I had purchasing my car from this dealership. For some background information, I live in Pennsylvania and I was interested in a certified, pre-owned Land Rover Discovery Sport from this dealership that I found online. I did go through with everything, my car was shipped up to me in PA, and I've been driving it for just about a year now. If you go into this dealership and buy a car in person, you probably will have no issues. However, that was not the case for me and buyers beware of buying a car through this dealership over the phone/online. So, here's a list of the issues I ran into while working with Mike Pietrzak and Pablo Tavarez. Again, this was all done via email and phone so things were as messy as they could possibly be, but I would have NEVER expected these issues from a luxury car dealership, regardless of how the transaction was done. - Car did not have all features I requested, was told that it had every feature I wanted (specifically a power tailgate and heated seats -- imagine spending almost 40k on a 2021 car and it shows up not having a power tailgate or heated seats, after being told it had those features -- yes on me for not double-checking the paperwork, still annoying) - When going to sign the paperwork, I noticed an additional $2,100 worth of things added to the car that was not disclosed prior nor was optional (such as a treatment for the exterior paint and interior fabric and the LOJACK, they were already added and could not be removed, yet they were not already included in the price of the car) - Salesmen would send texts and emails saying "this information was also sent to another buyer so first to put down a deposit gets the vehicle" - Salesmen would mix up my name with other buyers in emails & texts - After wiring the downpayment to the dealership, I did not hear from the salesmen, at all, no updates or information about car shipment - Wired the money June 16th of 2020, heard nothing, reached out regarding my purchased vehicle on June 23rd, heard nothing for a few days, finally got an answer that the car was getting picked up from their dealership within the week and would be on its way to me... that didn't happen! - Salesmen suggested that I FLY to Georgia to pick up my car and drive it home... - Looked into hiring a truck transporter myself, they wouldn't pay for it yet couldn't get me my car - Told them I would pull the contract and find a car somewhere else if I didn't have it within the next week (entering July), they upped their payment offer to their truck driver and all the sudden my car was on its way to PA... - My car finally arrived in July, it was FILTHY and I don't mean the exterior. I was told my car was "detailed" before being put on the transport truck and may I remind you I was charged an additional $1,200 for some kind of seat "protector" that I didn't ask for and my car showed up looking like people put their shoes on every seat, headrest, object, etc. There were also dark stains on the seat that do not come out, were not in the website photos of the car, and were not disclosed to me. When I told Mike, he said he didn't know why it looked like that and it wasn't on them. Blamed the truck driver, lovely. I have family friends who own the Land Rover Dealership in my local area and I chose to go through North Atlanta because Mike said this car checked all the boxes on my list; colors, features, price. It didn't. My family friends were appalled that a LR Dealership would allow anything like this to go on. I should have stopped the deal when he mixed up my name. I would never ever recommend purchasing a car through this dealership if you're not in person to double-check every single thing yourself because clearly, they do not care about their online customers. Would give this place 0 star if I could. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Paid over $1600 for a repair and 60k mileage service and the work was not done. Even tried to bring my vehicle in to have them fix the mistakes and they couldn’t schedule that correctly! Absolute nightmare More
In September of 2020 I purchased a Certified Pre Owned 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport from Hennessy in North Atlanta. I had the vehicle delivered to me in MS. Upon receiving the vehicle I immediately n 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport from Hennessy in North Atlanta. I had the vehicle delivered to me in MS. Upon receiving the vehicle I immediately noticed an audible squeak inside the cabin and that the front passenger strut would deflate and refill constantly. There was also an even louder rattle coming from the back passenger side over the rear wheel arch. I called Bluff City Land Rover in Memphis immediately and scheduled a service appointment. With COVID it took months before I could take it in for a repair. When I finally had them look at it they discovered the front passenger shock needed to be replaced and the rear passenger shock plate was cracked in HALF. There is no way this vehicle could of passed the 165-PT Inspection Land Rover requires to certify a vehicle. Air suspension is a checkpoint(Pt - 141) and there is even a checkpoint for Squeaks and Rattles(Pt- 152). The GM at Bluff City in Memphis said he's never seen anything like it. I contacted the GM( Zak Warner at Hennessy and he refuses to do anything stating there has been too much time and too many miles driven since I purchased the vehicle. What do time and mileage have to do with anything when the vehicle came in this condition and I called and reported the issues first thing? I've been forced to drive this vehicle in the state it's in while waiting for a service appointment. Land Rover does not cover these items under CPO warranty but they are required to be in working order for the vehicle to be certified and I am the first owner after it was certified. It's going to cost over $2800.00 to have both struts repaired. This is only the strut issue. When they delivered the car it only came with one key fob which had been super glued back together and in a way that made the buttons on the fob useless. I had to argue and argue with Micheal Pietrzak that it stated in the signed deal documents that it in fact had two key fobs. After finally admitting they couldn’t find the other one they said they would reimburse me after I ordered a new one. $600 later it took them 6 months to send a reimbursement check. The driver the vehicle was delivered with had a blow out from over loading his trailer with vehicles and when I told him the vehicle has to be delivered by it’s due date, he threatened to leave my vehicle on the side of the road, started making racist remarks and then proceeded to push my vehicle to the end of his haul and drop mine off last. Two days after it’s guaranteed delivery date. Vanessa McHale might just be one of the worst employees there. She was in charge of having my license plate transferred from my trade-in. She messed that up and never had it transferred so I ended up having to get a new tag myself after getting pulled over and paying a $200 expired tag ticket. Matt Kanfer is nothing but rude and professionally ill equipped to handle his job. Like the coward he is, he would not even return a single phone call of mine over the course of six months. I had to escalate it all the way over Matt’s head to Zac Warner which proved to be completely useless as well. They think because I am out of state and the deal has been done that this is out of sight and out of mind. Well that is not how you treat your customer base. Unless you prefer to do business with fraudulent, rude, liars I would highly recommend doing business elsewhere! I have owned many other luxury brands and this is single handily the absolute worst car buying experience of my life. This has all been reported and filed with the Atlanta BBB and the Attorney State General of Georgia. Awaiting resolution and reimbursement for the strut repairs... More

I live in Central Al and bought my 2020 Land Rover in oct of 2019. They talked me into buying the LoJack antitheft system for 500 dollars. When it was time to install I found out that LoJack doesn't work in Alabama . The LoJack people said that the dealership should have known this and they would refund the 500 dollars. After 1 and a half years and many phone calls no luck. They told me 6 months ago they had sent the money to the bank where the car is financed. I have called the bank several times and the money has not been received. It looks like I will have to give up or consult a lawyer. Poor service and management. More
