Dealership employees acted with professionalism and courtesy. Not very pushy or aggressive, got very nice car at a good price without a tremendous amount of back and forth between the tower. Rick is very knowledgeable about his product and is very patient handling numerous questions and requests. Although they did not have the van we were looking for, he found the exact color & options we want patient handling numerous questions and requests. Although they did not have the van we were looking for, he found the exact color & options we wanted on our Odyssey and had it brought in to his dealership for us. We were so pleased with the service and deal that we told our grown children aout it and they each have recently purchased CRV's from Rick via the Internet from Florida. They are equally pleased. Honda Cars of Hickory has been my "go to" Honda Service since 2007. They are 50 miles away from me. I have a Honda dealership 8 miles away but I am willing to make the drive for the great service. This last Saturday I had a problem with the battery of my wife's 2007 CRV. I drove from Hendersonville all the way to Hickory but arrived at 4:20 pm. The service area closes at 4pm Saturday. Chris Ruiz was leaving and saw me arrive. He got out of his car and asked me if I had a problem. I told him I had a battery problem and did not want to shut down the engine until I found out what the problem was. Chris opened the service bay, checked my car's battery and found out that it was charged. I could go home happy knowing that the problem was not a bad battery. This is a great dealership! More
I just got my degree from USC in 2009. I have never bought a car on my own. I called the dealership and talked to Rick one of the Internet Sales Managers. I told him what I was trying to do and the p bought a car on my own. I called the dealership and talked to Rick one of the Internet Sales Managers. I told him what I was trying to do and the problems I had with our local dealerships. I told him that it was a long way to come to the dealership. He told me they would bring the car to me at no cost to me. He did all of the work on the phone and over the net. He emailed me photos of three Civics that I was looking at. Everytime I called the people at the dealership were always happy and helpful. I called one day about the five times. One of those times Rick was working with someone and could not get the phone. I was going to leave a message. But Brian Messick took my call. He told me that he and Rick were both taken care of me. Brian knew all about my deal, which made me feel like this dealership was really trying to take care of me. I did not feel like just another number to them. Brian got me a GREAT PRICE on the Civic. Rick brought it to my work that friday, full of gas and Rick and I did a test drive before I signed anything. I love my New Civic, and I have told everyone to call Rick and Brian before they buy anything. More
Did an internet quote search and Rick & Hickory Honda were the only ones that actually sold the car at the price they quoted instead of adding on extras when trying to close the deal. My Daughter and myself went there and was put with patrick and he took us to Grace's office where she lectured us on too much equity in the car. It was an awful experience and they dwelled on the negatives and didn't see the postitives looking right at them. We got 7.5 percent financing through the credit union which was on the credit report later that day. She said she had 30+ years in the business! Our sales manager that same day had 7 years experience and saw the positive looking at him on the credit report. It was the worse experience I ever had at a car lot in front of my daughter. The problem with them was they never tried an alternative and was too much worried about profits and negative equity. It was awful!! More
After moving to Hickory 4 years ago I saw an advertisement for the Honda Ridgeline. I stopped into Honda Cars of Hickory and met Rick McClure. Before I left Rick had me in a new 2006 Ridgeline advertisement for the Honda Ridgeline. I stopped into Honda Cars of Hickory and met Rick McClure. Before I left Rick had me in a new 2006 Ridgeline. Between the end of model year pricing and the $3500 rebate, I was thrilled with the deal. Since then I have traded up to a 2008 Ridgeline and in November I again traded for a 2009 Ridgeline. In the same time frame my wife purchased a 2007 Accord and in December she traded for a 2010 CRV. Rick has always gone the extra mile to make sure we were in the right car at a price we were happy with. Rick has always found the color cars we wanted even when they were not in their inventory. I have never been in the dealership when Karen in customer relations hasn't found me to say hello. She is always there to make sure you are happy weather your in the sales department or the service department. Stacy in the service department is always quick to greet you and take care of all your service needs. All work and service is always done in a timely manor and the car wash is appreciated. After 5 cars from this dealership, my only regret is that they don't sell and service the Honda jetski. I had to go to Pineville to buy that. Thank you Honda Cars of Hickory for being an outstanding dealership. More

My husband and I recently decided to trade in our 2005 Odyssey for an upgraded 2010 model. We checked with one local dealership and got the impression that while we were getting a decent deal, it wasn't Odyssey for an upgraded 2010 model. A friend mentioned Mike May of Honda Cars of Hickory so we decided to give a call. Mike was so friendly and helpful. He took our info and immediately got it to the sales team. We were put in touch with Mark Buchanan who made sure every aspect of the process was easy on us. All our business was done via telephone and email as we live almost 6 hours from the dealership. Mark's attentiveness to our needs and desires was outstanding. He drove the 6 hour trip to deliver our vehicle in person and pick up our trade. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! He was also VERY patient and understanding with my 3 year old that was not wanting to wait to finish paperwork. Derrick in Finance was outstanding as well. Being active duty military there were some details to work out with the paperwork. This was not a problem for Derrick. He got right to making sure we were taken care of and the paperwork was done correctly. Every aspect of our car buying with this dealership was made easy and we will be contacting them for our next purchase when my husband returns from deployment. We felt we were in good hands during the entire process. More

It's a wonderful car and I enjoyed working with all the guys that I met during my purchase. Even the financing was made more enjoyable because of the humor and personality of Jamie. I would recommend this dealership and all the helpful employees to anyone interested in a new vehicle. More
