Tony Danias turned a lemon into lemonade with our situation. When I called hime about the wreck, he calmed me down. He made arrangements for a rental car, towing and the repair of my vehicle. I have purchased three vehicles from Hendrick Chevrolet, two Corvettes and a Tahoe. Overall, I would have to say that the buying process exceeded my expectations in every way. Sure, I could have gotten a little better price out of town but I would rather purchase my new vehicles locally especially when it comes to the level of service that I receive from Hendricks! Lamont is a great salesperson and a valuable asset to the Hendrick team. He really works hard to earn my business including staying after hours to complete the sale and make sure we are happy before we leave. More
My first visit was after contacting them about a suburban. I received the usual Hendricks BS about congratulations on my choice, etc. upon arrival, I met with the salesperson that contacted me and h suburban. We drove around for 20 minutes looking for the vehicle and then he found out it had been sold. Did I mention, I live 2 and half hours away. My second experience about 3 weeks later they advertised a Tahoe and once again ,I was contacted by the same salesperson, I asked all the normal questions and 6 hours later was back on my way to Cary. Short version, the vehicle was 2 wheel drive instead of 4 as I was advised.Not one Manager came to talk to me and Drove 2 and half hours and 70 dollars in gas home.The salesman told me that HE was having a terrible day, really! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !! More
I’ve purchased many vehicles in my life and the experience at Hendricks Chevrolet in Cary, North Carolina was my worst experience ever; At the dealership: 1. The vehicle price didn’t match bet experience at Hendricks Chevrolet in Cary, North Carolina was my worst experience ever; At the dealership: 1. The vehicle price didn’t match between the sales rep (John Neff) and the sales manager 2. The sales manager (Jason House) was very rude and loud 3. I had to ask several times for a vehicle to drive home (over 40 miles away) since I traded-in my vehicle. The sales rep repeatedly told me that the manager hadn’t made his decision yet about releasing a vehicle for me. Before Vehicle delivery: 1. I was told that they could have the vehicle I ordered within 24 to 48 hours. That was not the case; 96 hours later the vehicle arrived. Normally the delivery time wouldn’t be an issue but I informed them that I was scheduled to deploy that following week. 2. I ordered specific wheels for the Tahoe (already purchased them separately with a credit card); prior to the arrival of the vehicle the sales rep sends me an e-mail wanting me to except a totally different style wheel. 3. Through-out the 96 hours the sales rep would tell me that the vehicle was on its way. After Vehicle delivery: 1. Also during this process I told the sales rep that I still had items in the vehicle that I traded-in and that I would get them when I pick-up the Tahoe (fortunately my deployment was delay couple days) 2. I arrived at the dealership expecting to see my items in a box, only to realize that the trade-in was gone and no one had a clue of where it was or how to retrieve my items; the worst part was that no one attempted to find the trade-in, in which I still had the title too. Zero initiative at this dealership. I was scheduled to deploy that night and I spent over three hours at the dealership with my family while they all did nothing. 3. The Tahoe was dirty with water spots on all the windows (looked like a 5 year old tried to wash it) 4. It had scratches in the paint (wife took it back couple times, and they made it worst) Summary: This is only a snap-shot of my horrible experience at Hendricks Chevrolet, I could write a book on the incompetence there. If I wasn’t deploying I would not have purchased anything from that dealership, but I needed to leave my family with a reliable vehicle. Bottom-line I was treated like I purchased a $1,000 car instead of a $50,000+ vehicle. The attitude there seemed to be “we’ll make our sales anyway”. More
Our family had a great experience at this business after a terrible one at Reed Lallier in Fayetteville. Johnny was our salesman and wasted no time getting us exactly what we wanted without pressuring us into buying something we had no interest in. We traded in two Silverados for a Traverse. The appraisals on our Silverados were very reasonable and we were given a generous rebate for a 2011 Traverse. We didn't want an entire luxury package but wanted a sun roof. At Hendrick this was no problem---they are adding a sun roof to the Traverse that suits our price range. The facility at Hendrick is really nice and they offer complimentary popcorn and drinks and also have a child play room next to the waiting area, which is a great way to kill time with small children. I know it was a Godsend for us! The staff is very friendly and the employee who conducts internet business for them went out of his way to come thank us for our time. I'm certain that anyone who comes to Hendrick will have a great experience. More
I thought that it would be worth mentioning that this was the best dealership that I have ever gone through. I bought my car in 2004 and still look back on that experience when I am dealing with other dealer the best dealership that I have ever gone through.
