I purchased a new vehicle today, and Dalton McLean picked me up from my office and from there I test drove the truck I was interested in. I did change my mind on trucks, but he was able to plug in the new tr me up from my office and from there I test drove the truck I was interested in. As a long term customer of Hendrick, especially Hendrick Cadillac in Monroe, NC (I've purchased 2 Escalade's from this dealership...not to mention SEVERAL other vehicles from other Hendrick stores), I have Cadillac in Monroe, NC (I've purchased 2 Escalade's from this dealership...not to mention SEVERAL other vehicles from other Hendrick stores), I have to share a heartfelt thank you to Jerry Baker and Sarah Collins. Had they not stood firm on their policy I would likely have continued to purchase from Hendrick! Took my 2017 Escalade to Hendrick of Monroe for servicing just like I have every other time (oil change, tire rotation, etc.), but this time there were also issues with the infotainment system and it was riding really, really rough. I was advised by Sarah there would be a diagnostic fee of $149, not once, but twice (that's $298 for the math whiz's out there) simply to run a diagnostic to determine what was wrong with the vehicle. Seriously?!?! I just told you what was wrong and now you're wanting to charge me $149 x 2 just for you to tell me how much it was going to cost to repair the vehicle? A vehicle that you sold me and was not performing to the standard it should be?!?! Did I mention I HAD BEEN a very loyal Hendrick customer? Of course I did...they simply could care less. So, now that I'm no longer a Hendrick customer I'm delighted to share I took my Escalade to another dealership (non-Hendrick as I'll never purchase another vehicle from ANY Hendrick dealership), traded it and bought a new car! If anyone is interested in a Hendrick Acura or Lexus, I'm looking to trade those, too...moving completely away from Hendrick who apparently could care less about loyal customers! Sarcasm aside, I did have positive experiences from other Hendrick locations -- Mike Underwood at the Charlotte Lexus service department is off the charts terrific, as was Dean at Hendrick Acura (purchased 2 vehicles from him in the past), but unfortunately, it only takes one really, really bad experience, which I obviously had, to ruin it all. Best of luck Hendrick in Monroe...I'll be sure to also share with my friends, family and anyone else who might listen how you seem to turn your nose up to loyal customers! More
Absolutely love the sales department at this Cadillac store!! A wonderful family atmosphere and everyone is always smiling and so friendly! I can ONLY give them a ONE STAR because Paige and Malek were never on the same page. It took over a week to get a Buyer's order and still they missed the point. They either didn't talk to each other or Mal were never on the same page. It took over a week to get a Buyer's order and still they missed the point. They either didn't talk to each other or Malek wasn't telling me things in good faith. I was going to come there and test a used 2021 Cadillac CT4 V. It didn't matter because they SOLD the car while I was negotiating a deal (02/09/24). They are terrible. Explain how they didn't even now about it NOT in stock?? AVOID them and shop elsewhere. Just another Hendrick dealership with poor management. More
