Wasted my time! We went there to look at a used car (2009 Mazda 6S Grand Touring), that just was listed and I really wanted to look at. Scheduled an appointment to see that vehicle the day before, got there and was told they could not sell the vehicle due to an open recall that there was no fix for yet. No one thought to call us, though they had our information. Jim the salesman couldn't have cared less that we wasted our time going there. He was extremely unfriendly. We will never shop there again. A complete waste of our time! I was ready to buy this car as I have been looking for this type of a car for a long time. More
Best Customer Service I have been on the market for a new car for about a month after a hit-and-run totalled my 2015 Jetta. I obviously never intended on being in the marke I have been on the market for a new car for about a month after a hit-and-run totalled my 2015 Jetta. I obviously never intended on being in the market as I was very happy with my new car I bought just a year ago. I have been to countless dealerships test driving new and used cars, and I feel as though I have become a professional test driver I have driven so many different cars. With that said I have had a lot of interactions with sales management and finance, and quite honestly they all haven't been so pleasant. From car salesman allowing the door to hit me on the way out because I wouldn't buy the car right then and there. To almost getting into a shouting match with a salesman because he insisted on selling me a car that had less features than the cars he had on the lot. Mr. Stewart Mills, he was different. Very pleasant helpful and understanding. He assisted me with looking at a used car, and didn't hesitate helping me, even though he works in the new car department. He didn't make me feel pressured to buy the car that very moment and understood that buying a car isnt just a decision you make in the span of an hour. Since our interaction was so pleasant I felt the need to call and let him know I decided to buy another car at another lot. Still kept it cool and calm, thanked me for coming in and give him the chance to earn my business and was sincere when he said he was happy I found something I wanted, but made sure I knew if I decided to change my mind he would help me. By far the most professional interaction with a salesman and dealer I have had. I highly recommend Mr. Mills, especially if you know your buying an Acura, his work ethic and business sense is worth him making that sale. More
Stress crack due to defective windshield in Acura ILX 2017 I recently purchased a 2017 ILX from this dealership during the summer. Shopping for a car is a physically draining, monotonous and mind-numbing proce I recently purchased a 2017 ILX from this dealership during the summer. Shopping for a car is a physically draining, monotonous and mind-numbing process at times, but I would like to thank Russ Gard for being among the best car salesmen I've ever met. He was interesting, engaging, patient when I needed a moment to think, and witty when the situation called for some comic relief. Not to mention, he showed us the famous selection of snacks in the lounge. Most salesmen struggle to make this experience pleasant, let alone bearable, but Russ managed to do so. As much as I would have loved for the story to end there (who wouldn't?), Hendrick Acura is not quite off the hook. Of course, selling cars is only half of what a dealership does, more or less. This wouldn't be a complete review if I didn't comment on the nature of the service. More specifically, how management treats you when you really just need a hand -- when it matters. I will now explain why my review is for 1 star and not 4. I discovered a stress crack in my windshield on a very cold day in November. These cracks are not unknown to the vast majority of car owners. They can happen on their own, and it implies that the glass is defective. Luckily for me, my brand new car comes with a warranty that covers defects, and it's a promise that Hendrick Acura must honor. It should have been no more trouble than a visit to the dealership, a chat with a representative, and perhaps a couple of complimentary snacks to fix, right? Unfortunately, the service team didn't see it that way. The service manager, Tony Diorio, failed to carefully inspect the crack in the windshield. Almost instinctively, he reasoned that the crack was not a stress crack, and that something had hit the windshield to cause the crack, pointing to some microscopic, arbitrarily chosen spot in the glass and digging the tip of his ballpoint pen in it to mark the 'impact' almost as if his goal were to outdo us instead of serve our interests. He was rather aggressive in his persistence and his remarks implied distrust in us as customers. Interestingly, two auto glass professionals whom we took the time to visit ourselves provided statements expressing their opinion that it is a stress crack, meanwhile the glass professional that Tony called himself failed to comment on the nature of the crack. Hendrick Acura is comfortable leaving me with the cost of this repair, but this review will stand unedited until they reach out to resolve this issue with me. More
Excellent buying experience! I had been looking for a certified pre-owned Acura MDX in the Raleigh area for several weeks. I was not happy with our local Acura dealer in the area for a number of reasons. I found my dream car online at Hendrick Acura in Charlotte. Aleaha, the online sales assistant was very helpful and assured me that I would like working with this dealership. I was out of town on business and decided to swing by the dealership to check out the car. I was greeeted by one of the the nicest salesmen that I have ever encountered, Jim Holshouser. We immediately went for a test drive and I fell in love with the car. I was very happy with the trade-in offer for my 2005 MDX which was double what the Cary dealership had offered me. Jim was so great to work with and negotiated a very good price. I had no idea I would be drivng the car home in a few hours. Jim went overboard to accomodate me and Danny went above and beyond to complete the sales transaction in a timely manner. The entire sales team was amazing! They were extremely curtious, honest and fair. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Hendrick Acura. I would give them ten stars! Nora Kinney - Raleigh, NC More

Excellent purchase experience with Bill Harrigan I was searching for a particular Honda CRV and found exactly what I wanted online at three different dealers. Hendricks Acura was the second dealershi I was searching for a particular Honda CRV and found exactly what I wanted online at three different dealers. Hendricks Acura was the second dealership visited and sales person Bill Harrigan showed me the car and took me for a test drive. Bill was professional and knowledgeable about the car, even though he primarily sells Acuras. Back in the office he showed me the all the services done to prepare the pre owned car for the Hendricks Certification program and explained the warranties to me. He also shared the price history at their dealership. After finishing my search I called Bill to tell him what I was willing to pay for the vehicle, knowing I had two other options. He went over tax, title, license and doc costs so I would not be surprised at the final price. Bill checked with his manager and then calmly said we had a deal. There was not a moment of haggling. I was impressed with him and the way the dealership was willing to do business. But one more act put him over the top in my book. I wanted to add a DVD player to the car and had priced one at Freeman Audio. When Bill heard that, he volunteered to have it done for me through Freeman's at the dealership cost, saving me $300 from the price Freeman's quoted me. They had the DVD player installed and ready for me a couple days later when we sat down to sign papers and pay for the CRV. The experience with Matthew in finance was also pleasant, no hard sell for the extra coverages Hendricks offers. Both gentlemen won my trust through their knowledge and willingness to answer questions without any pushiness. I've only had the vehicle a few weeks and cannot comment about the service department. Based on my experience so far I highly recommend salesman Bill Harrigan and Hendricks Acura. More

Very poor customer service My service Advisor Danny as well as the Service Manger never informed me along the way of cost of service. I was told 3 parts were needed for my car that costed me $800 but never corrected the check engine light going off. After spending over $1500 in parts and labor the proably wS simply a burnt wirer. I am so disgusted with Acura.i dont ever want them touching my car ever again not this location any. More
