The worst, most dishonest dealership I’ve ever dealt with. I leased a 2018 and 2021 F150 truck from them. Their service department damaged both of them. The 2018 went in for a warranty repair. They tried giving me back the truck with the hood, passenger door and bed all scratched to bare metal. They had one of their service people drive it to the front , hand me the keys and walked away. They had to repaint over 50% of the truck. I also bought 4 new tires from them. I thought they would do a better job mounting them since they are a Ford Service Department. Boy was I wrong. They gauged one of the chrome wheels. Again they tried giving it back to me and hoped I wouldn’t notice it. When I showed it to them they said they could “touch it up” with silver paint. After arguing with them they agreed to replace the wheel. I brought my 2021 in for a simple oil change. They drove it into a wall in the service department. They tried giving me back my truck with a scraped front bumper and damaged grill. When I went back in to tell the service rep what they did the he had the nerve to ask me if I drove it off their lot. Between all the damage they did to both trucks I lost about 4-5 months usage of them. They did give me loaners. Usually small SUV’s. After all my lost time with my trucks, which I use for my business, I went in to complain to my sales rep, John Talt. He made all kinds of promises that the dealership would cover some of my lost monthly payments. He lied. The dealership covered none of them. Ford Motor Company covered one month. I complained to Ford. They told me the dealerships are independently owned and they have no control over them. I even had the sales manager, Douglas Curtis, come out to see the damage they did. His response was don’t come back to the dealership since I complained to Ford. My advice based on my experience is if you want to buy a Ford don’t buy it from Hempstead Ford. And, whatever you do don’t go near their service department. I have texts, photos and receipts to back up everything I’ve stated More
