Purchased an SUV from them that my mechanic noted would need several repairs (obvious leaks) that needed to be done to it that I was willing to pay to have replaced. They refused to lower the price of the vehicle (it was also $1000 dollars overpriced based on Kelly Blue Book and other sites) stating that my mechanics estimate for the repairs was too high. I was offered a “dealer” rate at their mechanics which I took it to, and they quoted me a cost that was three times as much as my mechanic. Not even a month after owning it the check engine light has come on. I've barely owned the car and I've already dropped $1500 in repairs. This has by far been the worst experience I have had dealing with a third-party dealer and will be the last time I purchase a car through one. More

Terrible experience Awful business. Bought a vehicle along with an extra warranty that was supposed to cover drivetrain or so I was told. Only .after 2 payments the trans Awful business. Only .after 2 payments the transmission went, warranty not honored and as a matter of fact told it should never have been sold to us in the first place. Now sitting with a broken down vehicle and the dealership wants me to pay an additional few grand out of pocket to their preferred mechanic to replace the transmission and that should have been covered in the first place. They are dishonest and truly disappointing to work with. More

Horrible Experience A week after we bought a truck from Hekhuis, we started having problems. We took the truck to our local mechanic and turns out we are on the hook for A week after we bought a truck from Hekhuis, we started having problems. We took the truck to our local mechanic and turns out we are on the hook for almost $4,000 in repairs - both the timing chains and the transmission are failing. We called Tre the sales manager multiple times, who would only convey our message asking for help to the owner. The owner refused to talk to us. How can an owner refuse to talk to customers who have just spent $18,000 at his business??? He told the sales manager "he could try to find discounted repair with his own mechanic". Really? We live 200 miles away and the truck is undriveable! We are kicking ourselves for not seeing all the other negative reviews and not a BBB business. Be very careful if you decide to buy from Dave Hekhuis. More
