I'd NEVER GO BACK AGAIN I will never go back to Poughkeepsie ford ever again. I purchased a vehicle 3 months ago and for one I already had to replace the battery, okay I unde I will never go back to Poughkeepsie ford ever again. I purchased a vehicle 3 months ago and for one I already had to replace the battery, okay I understand things happen. But now it being 3 months and 3 weeks of owning my vehicle my alternator broke and ford will do nothing about it. I barely put 250 miles on it and they won't do anything for me. They told me it wasn't their problem and that it's only covered up until 3 months. I've bought a few cars in my day and never had a problem but let me say one thing their service is far from friendly. More

I got to learn a hard and very expensive lesson and I hope no one else has to. I purchased a used Escape in June, I was at the dealer for 8 long hours. After going through all the payment options I was glad I got 1.79 interest rate from Wells Fargo. I was happy with that but the Ford finance manager Steve insisted that with IntelliPayment a 3rd party plan that offers bi-weekly payments I'd be saving more money and it would take 3 months off the entirety of the loan. What he failed to mention was they have a non-refundable $399 processing fee which you're stuck with after 45 days. Plus they charge $1.95 convenience fee that Wells Fargo does not so I'll be out an extra $650 for using this wonderful program. That's a hefty fee on a $19,000 loan. When I saw the numbers weren't adding up I called Steve and asked why he'd recommend such a costly service re responded, "Some people don't mind paying more for convenience." Making 2 payments every month versus 1 payment is not a convenience I'm willing to pay $650 for. No thanks. I turned down the warranties at first. Steve would not take no for an answer I felt very pressured and because I was buying a used car said there was no way of knowing what could happen or go wrong. Steve said I could cancel the warranties any time after 30 days to avoid the $30 cancellation fee. What he didn't mention was also by waiting I get to pay a 10% cancellation fee on over $3,000 in warranties minus the estimated mileage, etc. He also sold me a $300 car care service plan that was only good for 7400 miles and I was already covered with my Ford limited warranty. More money out the window. More

I want to also thank Regina on calling me up after I built our truck on line. She was quick to set up an appointment and was willing to take that extra time to make sure we would treated in a timely manner. I can't thank everyone at Friendly Ford enough for making our truck buying experience a positive experience. I will be back in the future and I hope others will take advantage of such a dealership. It's completely obvious that he has the customer's interest and satisfaction at the top of his list. I appreciated being given a military discount based on my Army service; thank you for that program/rebate. I will recommend Friendly Ford to anyone I come across that may be looking for a good, US-made, Ford! More
