OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE FROM "HELLO" TO "ENJOY YOUR NEW CAR" I had been trying to "gear up" for the beginning of the process to finding the right pre-certified car for myself and was completely dreading the past I had been trying to "gear up" for the beginning of the process to finding the right pre-certified car for myself and was completely dreading the past experiences I have had with dealerships (non-stop calls, emails, reminders about cars and incessant pressure to return and buy a vehicle). From the minute I entered the dealership, the Sales Manager, Eddie Finn welcomed me with a warm smile and I had the pleasure of working with Paul Metzger as my car salesman. I had explained what I was looking for, the need for a very reliable car that would handle well in the NY winters and provide me the security I was looking for. Humor was part of our interaction right from the beginning and the test drive continued to be just as pleasurable. I actually had groceries in the car and had no intentions of purchasing a vehicle that evening. The reality is that with the professional members of the Friendly Ford Dealership, it was evident that they GENUINELY cared about my concerns, my finance parameters and worked extremely diligently with me to ensure that I had the confidence not only in the vehicle that I was looking to purchase, but that they were there to help support the purchase process and make it the most enjoyable, and quite frankly, most surprising experience. After we discussed numbers for my trade in with the pre-certified vehicle I was interested in, I was then able to meet with Brian Grunow who is the finance manager. Again...the same carry through of what was best for the "customer" was discussed and Brian was extremely thorough with ensuring that I was purchasing the warranty that best matched my needs. Without doubt, this dealership goes above and beyond in every way shape and form. Every question and concern was met with answers and assurances. I highly recommend this dealership. Terrible experience I would give zero stars if possible. I went for an oil change and for them to check a recall on my gas tank. No problems paid and left. I got in my car and the cabin smelt like gas a little. I didnt think anything of it and went about running my errands until I turned The heat on and the gas smell got stronger. I got home and immediately my dad smelt gas outside my car. When he looked under my hood they forgot to put some sort of a cap back on and gasoline sprayed all over my engine. I went back immediately with my dad and showed them what they did. They didn’t offer my money back or anything until we said they better steam clean my engine. They ended up detailing my car and steam cleaning the engine. They chalked this up to “mistakes happening” which I understand but this was more than a mistake, it was pure neglence and stupidity. Do yourself a favor and go to Rhinebeck Ford More
