I started shopping for a Jeep in my area through the internet. There are many dealerships to choose from in our area. One dealership I have already had an experience with and it was typical. However, when I found exactly the Make & Model I was looking for on McConnell Chevrolet web site, I called to ask questions. When I called Grant answered my call, it was an hour before closing, yet he graciously invited me to come and look at the vehicle. I arrived at McConnell Chevrolet and Grant had already pulled the vehicle up front for me! After meeting with Grant he showed me the vehicle and we took it for a test drive. I told him that I loved it but had some financial concerns. We arrived back at the dealership after our test drive and we sat down to discuss my concerns. Grant was kind about my concerns and took my information directly to Cindy, the Finance Manager, Grant came back with good news. The good news was that it was a very good possibility for me to finance my dream car!! In fact Grant mentioned that Cindy was on the phone at the moment! Since it was already late in the day and he noticed that I was tired, he said, "You go home and I will call you tomorrow." I felt very relieved and hopeful. Grant called me the next day and said, "Congratulations, Cindy got you approved! Come get your Jeep!" I was thrilled! Unfortunately I had to work but Grant understood and McConnell Chevrolet held the Jeep for me. I went in the following day. Grant introduced me to Cindy Sage, she was very polite, kind and professional, just like Grant. I felt at ease and comfortable! Cindy took me through the paperwork with ease and efficiency. Before I knew it we were done with all the paperwork. There was no pressure but there was concern and it was greatly appreciated. I had been shopping for a Chrysler 200, went to several dealerships and alot of online shopping. There was a add in the Press Democrat paper for a very attractive price.I went to McConnell in Healdsburg, Bill meant me in the parking lot and it was "SMOOTHE SAILING" from start to finish!My last new car was 1987, and I remember going to dealers and feeling very inferior and pressured, so I was not looking forward to car shopping. Much to my suprise I went to 3 Chrysler dealers in the NORTHBAY and you would have thought I had the plaque or something no one came to meet me in the parking lot, and one dealer in Santa Rosa I stood in the Showroom and said YOUWHO...YOUUUUWHOOOOO...YOUWHOOOOOOO..and still alone standing in the showroom!!! I saw an office to my right that said GENERAL MANAGER so I went toward it and there were 3 salesmen shooting the breeze (not a meeting) I said could someone help me? This man gave me a "DEAD-EYE GLARE" and said I will be there in a minute????? Wow..EXITING IMMEDIATELY, I went back home and got online with different dealers and chatted, but that is not "warm and fuzzy"! Luckily I saw the ad in the paper the next Sat and now Tuesday, I have my car, I could of had it Sat but I could not pick it up until Tues. I was so very impressed with Bill and how he validated my intelligence and no pressure! Cindy the finance mgr was very pleasant, came in early for my conveience!I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT MY EXPIERENCE! More
