The past few days I too have not had any further problem I also appreciated the service advisor, Joaquin Negron provided.Both were very professional and knowledgeable . service repair I need the help of anyone who had issues before. I am sure there is some sort of police or a place where I can complain for all of this. I am going to send this to CP24 and there are many places where I am going to post my story but if anyone have any ideas please do send me a text to 416.895.9916. I had and still having hard time with this dealership. I really don't know what to do. They have committed the worst kind of unfairness (I don't want to say something meaner) of my entire life. I dropped my car to them because it was vibrating. After $2060 and 10 days of going back and forth, I had to tow the car to them again today. I can't believe it. I am sure they will say it is something else. They were trying to fix the problem and every day for the last 10 days they entertaining me with a new story and each story cost money. Here are the details ----------------------------------- Thurs 16 June Took the car to Scarborough Toyota because it was shaking and the check engine light went on. Dealer said that they have to diagnose the car and they have to charge me $73. I accepted. I went inside the waiting room and after a while RIZAL came to me and told me that they have to change the 4 plugs and 2 ignition coils. The total including the diagnostic was $856. I accepted and he said it will be around 2 hours. I left and then asked him to call me when it is ready. After the a while, he called me back and told me that they replaced the parts but the misfire is still there and nothing changed and the car has to remain in the dealership overnight so they can check it again. Friday 17 June around 2 pm RIZAL called me many times but I was not able to answer the call. After 30 minutes, I called him back and he was busy but a lady from support talked to me instead and she said that the car is still not fixed and has a misfire and they have to diagnose it again and that I have to pay for the diagnostic. They kept on telling me they don’t know how many hours for the diagnostic. Saturday 18 June RIZAL called me and told me hopefully it is a computer problem and it will be resolved if changed. HE said they don’t have the part and Monday they will fix it. I asked him if the problem is not fixed after changing the computer, would you put my computer back. He said ok. Monday 20 June Rizal called me and told me that he changed the computer and the problem is still there. I was speechless. He said they need more time. Tuesday 21 June RIZAL called me and told me that they found the problem and that they have to change the injectors. I told him that you will call me tomorrow and tell me that the problem is still there but he was positive that he will solve it. Wednesday 22 June RIZAL called me and told me I have good and bad news. The good news the car is fixed and the engine light is gone and there is no more misfire. The bad news is your invoice is $2400 and the exhaust is making noise. My exhaust was perfectly ok when I brought the car to the dealership He told me that it is better to take it to a local shop because dealer will cost me a big money. He told me that he will try to do his best to reduce it. The end up reducing the price to $2,066. Thursday 23 June I took the car to buy some stuff for home, then check engine light came back. Friday 24 June I took the car back to the dealer and talked to the manager. He told me he will take it and check it. They check the codes and they found the airflow meter sensor and catalyst sensor. The manager told me to put good fuel and drive it on the highway and it might solve the issue. If not, he told me to come back. I did what he said and then I found out that the car reaches 130 kms an hour with difficulties and never exceeded the 130 kms an hour. Sunday 26 June Car was acting weird. IT like something is blocking it from moving forward. It was going slow. I went to visit someone and when I came back I wanted to start the car but it was shutting off after 5 seconds. Gonzalez and Jordanys Perez, that provided me with an excellent car buying experience. They listened to what I was looking for and were extremely well mannered and professional. They understood the budget that I had in mind and provided me with excellent service. Most importantly, I found the exact car I wanted and I never felt pressured in any way during the entire experience. I was extremely satisfied that they did all they could and got me a price that I could afford. It has been a very long time since I have had such a smooth, seamless car shopping experience. More
