I visited Honda of Hayward on May 15th my experience was outstanding ! I had some doubts that I wouldn’t be able to get the car I wanted but I was assured that I would get better ! When I drove away instead of getting a 2018 that I had in mind I drove away in a 2020 in the exact color I imagined . Annemarie was so helpful from the beginning. With all that is going on, we are moving out of the Bay Area and we were in need of a new commuter car but it seemed every other Honda dealership were giving that is going on, we are moving out of the Bay Area and we were in need of a new commuter car but it seemed every other Honda dealership were giving us the run around finally Annamarie called us and was able to get us an appointment to test drive the car and when it came down to the final part, she broke everything down and even gave us a great deal with our new Honda Fit! best part about it out first payment doesn’t kick in until JULY 2020!! We’ve already recommended her to two other people in need of a commuter car I know she will look out for them the way she did with us. (Can’t find that these days) THANK YOU HONDA OF HAYWARD!! More

More

When it comes to my car, I’m complicated and take no B.S. I tend to be a heavy hitter with no remorse when it comes to big purchases and big moves. This was my second go around with Honda of Hayward, the fir I tend to be a heavy hitter with no remorse when it comes to big purchases and big moves. This was my second go around with Honda of Hayward, the first time I purchased my 2018 Honda Civic from Mike Fraga with an insane APR at 18.99% (yes I was a young and dumb 20 year old with no co-signer). The first time I spent nearly 8 hours at the dealership. This time was very different. I went by myself this time around wanting to trade in my car for something better and with a lower APR. Given the high interest rate, my car honestly had no value. Despite that, Annamarie, Cynthia and others were able to still assist me. I texted the manager Jevanka a day in advance about my situation and necessities, was able to make an appointment for the next morning where I was warmly greeted by Cynthia. They were able to drastically lower my APR and provided deals that would fit my payment structure. Although I was by myself, I never felt that they were trying to pull my leg. They pulled out some car options, even with myself throwing curveballs and being hard, they never lost composure and eased me. I had to get to work that same day so I opted to come in the following morning again to review the SUV that they had delivered from another location for me. I wanted an SUV after being in an accident with a big rig truck that couldn’t see me in my low car. I made sure to stick to Honda because it’s a strong and well constructed car that can honestly take a beating, being in that accident with not too much damage showed me how strong of a car it was. I test drove the 2019 Honda CR-V LX AWD and even took it for a spin up the hill of Cal State East Bay to see how it would hold up. It did a tremendous job and I ultimately felt comfortable in the car. Long story short, in combination of both days, I only spent 2.5 hours at the dealership this time around and left with a new 2019 Cr-V LX with AWD. My APR went from 18.99% to 3.9%, still with no co-signer, young at 22 and managed to handle my business. Cynthia was kind and patient, I honestly felt more comfortable and trusting of her than I did 2 years ago with my first car purchase. This time around I could call Honda of Hayward home. The selling manager Annamarie was very kind and sat and talked with me one on one while I waited to finalize paperwork. Which many people don’t do. I even had nice conversations with the manager of finance, KC, whom was also very kind and an all around person. I have 5 years of retail experience, 1 1/2 of those years dealing with luxury items, so I always look for customer service that isn’t pushy and personable because something so luxurious like a new car needs top of the line service to make the client feel comfortable to purchase. Honda of Hayward didn’t sell me short of it. Each and every person that I came across in the last two days here were kind, patient and carried a great personality. The biggest hand clap to Cynthia for dealing with my irritable moments and going the extra mile to let me get to know her and ease into her. Thank you all! More
