Mice Infestation! First let me say that we had previously purchased 2 other vehicles from Hayes Auto over the past 3 years and were very satisfied. I was looking for a newer SUV for my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary. After test driving 3 of them, my wife really like the 2016 Chevy Equinox. After explaining to Dylan, the salesman, that the vehicle needed to new rear tires the owner agreed to reduce the price by $450. We signed the paperwork that day (8/31/2019). Since we were an hour away, we agreed to pick up the SUV the following Friday (9/6/2019). We paid in full (Check) that day and my wife drove it to our campground. When we left that Sunday it was a little cool so my wife turned on the heat. She had to pull over half way home as the smell coming out of the vents was so bad she was physically getting sick. I drove the vehicle home and called Hayes the next day. They said they couldn't get us in to look at the car till the following week. I explained that was unacceptable and Dylan said there was nothing they could do. I decided to take apart the glove box and check the cabin filter. Inside I found a nest of 6 dead baby mice (See my Google or Yelp review for pictures). I replaced the cabin filter and bought a bunch of Fabreeze sticks to place in all the vents. I ran the car for 2 hours and the smell was still very pungent. I then took the access cover off where the fan blower is located and there were 3 more dead baby mice in there. After 4 hours of my time I was furious. I called Hayes back and Dylan said he could get us in that Friday and they would "Car Bomb" the vents with a neutralizer. I said that is fine but I want someone of authority to contact me as to what compensation for the 5 hours plus I had to get the car drivable. The next day, Chad the owner called me and said obviously we will reimburse you for the cabin filter. I said that is fine but what about all my time and the fact that my wife couldn't drive the car for a week without getting sick? He said there was nothing he could do and that we got a great deal on the SUV. Needless to say, I was NOT happy! Now I also had another concern, what damage did the mice do to any electrical wiring, electronics, etc. A week after they tried the "Car Bomb" the smell still lingered. I sent an e-mail and Chad's wife called me back and she apologized. I again asked what kind of compensation would be given for all of my time and stress. She offered me a $50 check. I said please "Don't insult my intelligence"! I was not asking for much, other than 2 new rear tires which would have cost them less than $300. On their web site they state, "We treat you like family". If that is the case, I wouldn't want to be part of the Hayes family. We will not be returning to Hayes and I am also letting family and friends know of our experience. Everything stated in this review is 100% factual, I am not "Puffing" my experience. If Hayes comes back in any way to "Spin" what happened, it is NOT true. More

Best Car Buying Experience Out There I could not have had a better experience with Hayes Family Auto. I purchased a 2011 Chevy Impala from them recently and the car is in great shape a I could not have had a better experience with Hayes Family Auto. I purchased a 2011 Chevy Impala from them recently and the car is in great shape and runs solid as a rock. Not only is this all around a great car but Brad, the owner, was nice enough to give me a great deal on it. Derek, the salesman I worked with, was incredibly helpful and outgoing, even going as far as to fill out as much of the paperwork as he could beforehand to make buying the car as quick and convenient as possible. Couldn't be happier with the car or the pain-free experience buying it. It isn't often anymore that a car salesman doesn't try to screw you over, and clearly, everyone at Haye's Family Auto wants every customer to get the best car they can for their dollar. Not only was the experience and the car itself great but when the company learned that one of the motors that adjusts my seat height wasn't working properly, they asked me to bring it in to their shop and fixed it for me free of charge, and gave me a car to drive for the day while they worked on mine. It's also worth mentioning that Hayes does in-house mechanic work and financing. You can get everything you need right in one spot. I HIGHLY recommend these guys for anyone who is looking for a car right now or ever. I've heard similar stories from other customers that have been there, and I'm sure I'll hear more positive feedback in the future. More

Always helpful will answer any questions or concerns. I love hayes auto i recommend them to anyone as for being a technician myself i know they arent lying to me about anything i ask or look at if your ever in need of a vehicle take your cars their or just stop in and get a new one bery nicw very friendly people More
Lied about condition of car purchased.. car had many issues including; not starting and unibody damage. Refused to fix problems even though the dealership had a 30 day warranty.
