Arrogant and rude sales agent and manager This morning, I called this dealership to discuss my search for a car. I was transferred to Roger, a sales agent and when I told him I was looking fo This morning, I called this dealership to discuss my search for a car. I was transferred to Roger, a sales agent and when I told him I was looking for a sporty car in stick shift, he gruffly replied, "We don't have any stick shift cars." I was taken-aback by his apparently dismissive tone and asked, "Oh okay. Is that the end of our conversation then?" He said he couldn't help me if they didn't have what I was looking for. Next, I spoke with his manager Shaun and told him that his agent was rude to me. He was not only unmoved by my report; he was highly defensive. He snapped back at me, "Well, ma'am, what do you expect us to do if we don't have what you're looking for??" That's good customer service or salesmanship? I think not. What did I expect? I expected to be treated with a professional and respectful tone. Whether I am or become a customer, a company has an obligation to treat people properly. More
