Liars When I leased my vehicle I was told that it came with 2 years free maintenance. That was a lie. My recent visit for my third oil change cost me over $60. When I mentioned the 2 years free maintenance I was informed by the service manager that 2 years maintenance only means 2 oil changes. I (and anybody who asks me about about Hawthorne Chevy) will never deal with them again. More
Nasty Experience To the Owners of the Hawthorne Chevrolet Dealership. I have just returned my end of lease Cruze to your dealership (8/23/17) and the experience was C To the Owners of the Hawthorne Chevrolet Dealership. I have just returned my end of lease Cruze to your dealership (8/23/17) and the experience was COMPLETELY DISTASTFUL for my Wife and I; I am writing this review in the hope that you as the Owners will correct the complete LACK of Customer Service exhibited by your Sales Manager, Mr. Frank Gaetano. Here is what happened: he (Frank) was completely uninviting when we entered the show room, no "hi", "how are you", "how can I help you". When I told him we had an end of lease return his attitude didn't improve any, he simply said I need the spare keys, which I gave him. I then noted that we had had the inspection done the day before and that I printed out the Inspection Report and had a question. He basically throw up his hands and said in nasty tone that is a third party and you'll have to take it up with them. I noted that my issue was that the inspection report states a trim piece was missing and charged me for it, even though I showed the trim piece to the inspector and he said to hand to the dealership which I was attempting to do. I asked him (Frank) if he would take responsible for taking custody of the trim piece and he basically said no, but I indicated that it is part of the vehicle that I was turning in. He (Frank) asked for the mileage and said about 13,000, he said in a nasty tone that he needed the exact mileage. I asked him if he would like me to go outside and get it off the vehicle which I did. I believe I am suppose to receive some sort of formal document from the Dealership that I turned in the vehicle and the exact mileage; all that he (Frank) gave me was the registration renewal form back with some notations handwritten on, it didn't even sign his name. Basically your Sales Manager has completely soured me on your Dealership and I will not only not be considering Hawthorne Chevy for any of my future automobile needs, but I will certainly recommend to anyone that asks me that they should seek other Dealerships. What should have been a very pleasant experience turned into a major #*@%. Hopefully as Owners you will live up to your advertisement as being Customer Focused and take appropriate action based on this review (complaint). p.s. I contacted the third party who removed the charge for the trim piece - they have in their records that the trim piece was handed to one Frank Gaetano. I'm confident that he (Frank) will have a completely different recollection of our encounter. That said, I'm an Eagle Scout and do not lie. I love giving positive feedback on Customer Service Surveys, and am delighted to give 5 stars, or 10's or whatever the metric is - the only reason I gave you one star is I don't think your system permits zero stars. More

Easy as pie Did some emailing with Kelly and she referred me to Gary at the dealership. Great guy. Gave me some great information on Saturday. Got to test driv Did some emailing with Kelly and she referred me to Gary at the dealership. Great guy. Gave me some great information on Saturday. Got to test drive a friend's new Malibu on Sunday. Stopped by Monday afternoon and by 5 o'clock Gary had the deal done and I drove my new Malibu home. Paperwork was so easy and almost all my copies were put on a flash drive. No pile of paper to file. Thanks to everyone at Hawthorne Chevrolet for a great experience. Bill Greene More
