Not impressed at all with the service this time. Lack of communication. When I called and asked about the parts all I got was we have not heard from parts yet. Bought a car from them and then a week later, transmission went out. They weren’t willing to help and basically said it’s my problem. Diesel truck repair. Bought certified diesel truck Our diesel truck broke down on the interstate and we were towed to Hawkins in Fairmont. We experienced great customer care from Jerry Bulfer, Josh Wa Our diesel truck broke down on the interstate and we were towed to Hawkins in Fairmont. We experienced great customer care from Jerry Bulfer, Josh Walker to the mechanics who greatly enjoyed the mechanical puzzle of our truck. Jerry kept us informed of the progress and problems of our truck while we waited for parts. The use of a loaner vehicle was a life saver-thanks again! In retrospect we felt lucky to break down and be near Fairmont with our diesel truck. We sure appreciate the service and parts department customer service care we received. In addition we purchased a certified diesel truck from Troy Sunken. Thanks Troy for your extra effort in dealing with our trade in and purchase of our used truck as we were from out of state! We again felt that we were well taken care of by Troy Sunken. Also thanks to Tabitha Blicknase and crew for the support of the paperwork getting through snail mail in fine shape. We are enjoying our certified used diesel truck greatly! Job well done Hawkins Chevrolet in Fairmont Minnesota! More

I took my 2009 Aveo in because the "check engine" light had come on. After diagnosing the problem and installing the correct part, Mr. Reinhart noticed that the vehicle tires were wearing ab engine" light had come on. After diagnosing the problem and installing the correct part, Mr. Reinhart noticed that the vehicle tires were wearing abnormally and recommended rotating the tires along with having the vehicle aligned. Just before turning it back over to me, he saw to it that the car got washed....!! More

I called Hawkins service department, explained the cars problem to jerry My ratings are based on service performed on my 2005 cadillac in april 2011. I called Hawkins service department, explained the cars problem to jerry, he gave me some possible solutions and asked that i bring the car in for a visual inspection. i did and he immeditely found the problem; gave me the cost of the repair,and set up an appointment,all in 15 minutes. The work was completed , the cost was exactly as estimated, AND the car was washed and the inside cleaned. Terrific service and resonable price. jim lytle More
