Honestly their best feature is that they will treat you like family; not because they want your business but because they actually care. My experience started when I emailed Tom Hawkins with regards to my truck the conversations lasted for about two weeks, during that time he answer questions with regards to shipping options and the actual condition of the truck as well as all of my concerns. Once I decided to purchase the vehicle and all of the paperwork was done; the truck was delivered at my house in Houston, Texas in only three days. Tom made all of the shipping arrangements and the truck came in safe and fast. I can truly only wonder how they would have treated me if I was a local customer. Let’s just say that If you are looking for a new car or used car, and you are close to Fairmont, Minnesota consider Hawkins Chevrolet as a place where they will take care of your needs and wants; if you are from a different city or an online shopper like I was, be ensured that they will be fair and truthful. I will keep watching their website (already have it bookmarked), I am sure they will have other cars I might be interested on in the future. More

Chris Finck was helpful from my first phone call to the last hand shake - even beyond. Professional, friendly - Hawkins truly is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. Even after driving off the lot, I received further info on my trade that I wouldn't have caught without Tabatha's help! I never expected to drive a perfect used car away, but I was blown away that Hawkins made every attempt to make it right and meet me in the middle with body work. You never know what you might get from a used vehicle, but with Hawkins help -there is no need to worry. Without a doubt, I trust every vehicle Hawkins has to offer. More

We were both impressed--if he didn't know the answer, he found it for us. We took a look at financing through their dealership and found we weren't going to get as good of a rate from our own banks (thanks Tabitha). After it was all said and done, we drove away with a 2007 Dodge Charger in approximately three hours (with all minor repairs made). Overall, we were both very glad that we drove two hours to Fairmont and impressed with Chris's professionalism and dedication to us, the customer, and Hawkins Chevrolet. I will be in the market for a new vehicle in the next year and will definitely look to Chris and Hawkins Chevrolet. More

I took my 2009 Aveo in because the "check engine" light had come on. After diagnosing the problem and installing the correct part, Mr. Reinhart noticed that the vehicle tires were wearing ab engine" light had come on. After diagnosing the problem and installing the correct part, Mr. Reinhart noticed that the vehicle tires were wearing abnormally and recommended rotating the tires along with having the vehicle aligned. Just before turning it back over to me, he saw to it that the car got washed....!! More

I called Hawkins service department, explained the cars problem to jerry, he gave me some possible solutions and asked that i bring the car in for a visual inspection. i did and he immeditely found the problem; gave me the cost of the repair,and set up an appointment,all in 15 minutes. The work was completed , the cost was exactly as estimated, AND the car was washed and the inside cleaned. Terrific service and resonable price. jim lytle More
I have been a customer at Hawkins since they came to Fairmont. My late husband and I found Tom to be honest, hard working, fair and resonable. I keep going back because they treat me like they really care and I feel that my business is appreciated. My daughter (who lives in the Twin Cities) will be in the market for a different car in the near future and Tom has assured us that he is keeping his eyes open for a GOOD used car that can be certified (daughter cannot swing a brand new car right now). Josh and Jerry listen to my concerns and talk me through the possible/necessary service needed. My one regret is that Hawkins will no longer be a Cadillac dealer--I won't be driving to the Twin Cities just for new wheels, I'll get some other model which will take getting used to since I have been driving new Cadillacs since 1987. The service department is a part of the picture, but Tom makes buying a car personal. GM should consider themselves lucky to have a business man of Tom's caliber! More
