I visited the Hawkins dealership a few weeks ago to purchase a used Kia Optima. Tom Hawkins and the Hawkins Chevrolet Dealership came recommended to me through a family reference. Being able to trust a car salesman isn't always easy, but Tom was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I live in Owatonna, so Fairmont is about an hour and a half journey for me. I called Tom and asked if he'd be able to meet me at 7:00pm, as it was the best I could do with my work schedule. He said that it would be no problem whatsoever. This was my first vehicle purchase, so I was rather nervous. Tom walked me through it step-by-step and made sure I understand exactly what was going on. He was very sincere and friendly which made the entire process a breeze for me. He ended up staying until 9:30 that night to finish the process--- someone who is willing to go that far out of their way to make others happy is hard to find.
