In our search for another vehicle we looked everywhere. We happened to find the perfect vehicle right under our noses at Hawkins. Troy Sunken was friendly and professional. The staff at Hawkins was great and very understanding of my children, who were less then thrilled to be car shopping with Mom. One staff member (Dale Splinter?) even took the time to play with my kids for a few minutes so I could have a few moments to speak with Mr. Sunken without interruption. During the purchase, I asked for a tail light to be replaced, although it was fully functional, I was concerned about moisture in it causing future problems. Mr. Sunken told me it would not be a problem, and had a new taillight assembly ordered at no charge to me before I even signed the papers. Tabitha Bicknase was great, she took the time to get to know me while finding me the best finance option available to me. On my drive home, I noticed something rolling around in the dash, I had not noticed during my test drive because I had 2 now very excited children asking questions. A few days later, I noticed some oil drips under the vehicle. I spoken with Mr. Sunken about both issues. Mr. Sunken and the staff at Hawkins stood by their sale and agreed to address both issues for me, at no charge. I am very pleased with my entire experience at Hawkins. In this day and age it can be hard to find a dealership that genuinely cares about the customer, most are only interested in the sale and leave you on your own the second you sign the paperwork. Not Hawkins, they went the extra mile to make sure we continued to be happy with our purchase. If they don't have exactly what your looking for, let them find it for you, you won't find a better buying experience then at Hawkins! More

We contacted Troy Sunken in early September looking for a Chevy Traverse with low miles. We initially had a dollar amount to spend but after talking with Troy and locating the vehicle we wanted with all the Chevy Traverse with low miles. I was looking for a specific used vehicle in a specific price range within a certain milage range and happend to find it at Hawkins Chevrolet. I stopped in and looked at the vehicle one week and midway through the following week I decided to make the purchase and apply online. This process was simple and fast and I stopped in after work and within a couple of hours was driving away with my new vehicle. I thought I should have gotten a better price on my trade, but was still okay with the price or I would not have completed the transaction. I had always purchased my vehicles from "out of town" dealerships. Hawkins was recommended to me by a fellow employee. My first conversation with Chris was very positive, he was pleasant and immediately offered to help and seemed eager to move forward with my request. Through my entire experience with Hawkins and Chris, I can definatley say that in my past 8 vehicle purchases I have never been as "wowed" as what I was by Chris. NEVER before had a Salesman walked me through all of the options in the car I was looking at, nor have they ever been SO thorough with the sale... Chris, Tom, Mark, and Tabitha definately made me feel like Family. Everytime I entered their office, they always asked if I wanted something to drink and asked how I was doing, asked about my baby girl. They definatley showed me that they do care and even after I purchased a vehicle, Chris and Tom have both checked in to see how things are going and making sure all is good. I also can't help but think about the "little things" thoughout my experience as well... Two times they accomodated me by getting my 2 vehicle to their dealership, Chris helped me take out both of my carseats from my vehicles I was trading in, when I dropped off my spare keys, Chris came outside to get them as my baby girl was in the back seat sleeping, and after my purchase, Chris took 1/2 an hour explaining the additional features in the car and how they work..... these all sound like such little things - - but WOW!! What AMAZING service! I never in the past felt overly committed to any dealership I dealt with because it was always "just a sale" - Hawkins is MORE then "just a sale"! All my future car purchases I can sincerely say, will be at Hawkins in Fairmont with Chris Finck! More
