Very pleasant experience After my car was wrecked in a car accident, I decided my next vehicle would be a pickup. After visiting the local dealers in Mankato, and searching th After my car was wrecked in a car accident, I decided my next vehicle would be a pickup. After visiting the local dealers in Mankato, and searching their inventories, I didn't find "the truck" I wanted or captured my attention. I checked the websites of area dealers and found "the truck" I was looking for at Hawkins Chevrolet in Fairmont. I call Hawkins on a Saturday morning, and talked with Dale Splinter, and he said the truck was still available. I explained I lived an hour away and would be there at noon. When I arrived, Dale had the truck in the lot, and ready for inspection. After a brief visit and test drive, we sat down and discussed price. I felt the asking price was very competitive, and we quickly arrived at a price I felt comfortable with. As this was Saturday, I explained I would have the cash available and could pick the truck up late Wednesday afternoon. When I arrived to pick up the truck and complete the sale, everything was ready for me. Any and all warranties were explained, and the various features (OnStar, SiriusXM, electronics, bluetooth, etc) setup and explained. When I drove off, I had smile on my face all the way back to Mankato. Would just like to thank Dale Splinter and Hawkins for a very pleasant experience, and would definitely go back again. More
