I called ahead to see if they had the part my usual dealer didn't have available. They said they did, but the parts guy was wrong and when I showed up for my appointment, they discovered they did not h dealer didn't have available. They did let me know right away, ordered the right part from another source and had me come back the next morning first thing so I would not have to wait for hours. I have been taking my Durango SRT to Hawk CDJR for roughly 3 years now. For the most part the service team has taken care of my Durango. In my most recent visit, I went in for 3 issues; a check engine roughly 3 years now. For the most part the service team has taken care of my Durango. In my most recent visit, I went in for 3 issues; a check engine light, a broke Evap line, and a vibration under heavy acceleration. The check engine light, and the Evap line when addressed, but the vibration was not addressed or mentioned. At some point, i have to go back to the dealership for a diagnostic on that. Its hard to be without a vehicle while it is in for service, so i consider this a miss when i have to make multiple visits for a unresolved issue. Lastly, the invoice i receive was a little move vague than i would like to see. To diagnos the my Evap leak, a smoke machine was needed. When the dust settled, the invoice was ~$1,500, but the invoice mentioned diagnos + Install for ~$1100 and parts was $100. I would like to have seen a more clearly itemized invoice: Smoke test Diag= X Install of evap line= X service hours = x cost Install of esim = X service hours = x cost My invoice was not itemized like this, which could lead to a misunderstanding of cost. As a customer who is spending their hard earn money, I would like to know how i am spending it with detail at the dealership. Don't get me wrong, i would like to keep as much of my money as possible, but i do understand that you have to pay to play when you own a SRT vehicle. BUT please break down the cost better for me. Overall, i recommend the service team here. I will be back to get an understanding of the last of my issues regarding the vibration under heavy acceleration. They techs will normally provide a video breakdown of the service need as well that is sent via text to the customer. More
