Ripped off! Brought my 07 Dodge Caliber in for a computer flash due to having had the tranmission changed. The service adivsor Oscar Aguirre did a terrible job. I was told the programming would be preformed at my risk as it was not guaranteed to work. I had quoted other dealers beforehand and hadn't been told this. Even so I went ahead with the work and was called that my car was ready - they didn't do anything to it. In the end I was charged $140.36 for nothing. Supposedly they flashed the computer but they didn't even test drive it, because occording to Oscar "they didn't diagnose the problem and only did what I asked". What crappy service. He said to diagnose the problem it would be an additional $280.00! I picked up my car and took it to Aamco in Oak Park. Very nice people, provided a free courtesy check and reprogrammed the computer on my car for $189.35. Car's been running great since. Bottom line - I'll never spend a penny here and will warn everyone to beware. Rude, smart-xxx advisors and terrible service. More

I called the service manager Randy Honda to tell him how rude Heba was and she has no customer service and no people skill and he did nothing about the situationafter I told Mr. Honda I didn’t want her on my case but he still let her call me. And when I went to pick up my car from them my car had all the snow on it from Saturday when it snowed and service said that they cleaned it off the best that they could but let me remind you that I brought my car in for no heat which they could not fix under the extended warranty and my car windshield was frozen and they expect me to drive home like that bad customer service I told them this is illegal for me to drive my car like that you should have brought it inside and let it warm up some so the snow could melt off my car and I could see how to get home. Asked to have my steering column boot replaced as previously instructed by Hawk at another appt., The part was ordered. Was told that the mechanic had to look at the car. I sat and sat waiting for someone to get back with me . 2 and a half hours later went to desk to ask if he had looked at the car was told that he had brought the car in and was working on it. Says its going to be more than the hour previously quoted. I showed him him the paper work showing the price of the part and labor, Boot $95.00 labor $140.36. Also told I had a coupon. He informed me that he could not accept the coupon because he did not charge me the cost for 3 hours work. Informed him that I know it did not take 3 hours because I kept getting up looking to see if my car had been bought in and the fact that I still paid the amount included in the cost for the coupon amount to be deducted. He says well I cant accept the coupon. Since you have the quote from previous service adviser and you been here so long I'm not charging you for the 3 hours work and will charge you what the previous advisor quoted you in error. Upset because I've been here since 9:30 its not 12:50. I leave and my signal is now not working does not cut off after making a turn. Turned right around and came back and had to wait another 45 minutes for the mechanic to reconnect the turn signals. Very upset my whole day spent waiting 4 hours for a hour job. I usually go home and wait until job complete but left waiting for the mechanic to check the car first.... misinformation...... Their were a lot of young men there on this day working on cars not the regular workers. Could this be the problem? More

DISHONEST PRACTICES AT HAWK CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE I purchased a brand new loaded out Jeep Wrangler back in February 2014, cash deal. I traded in 2 different cars and the rest cash. Due to the deal bei I purchased a brand new loaded out Jeep Wrangler back in February 2014, cash deal. I traded in 2 different cars and the rest cash. Due to the deal being a bit complicated with the tax savings on my trades, Heather my sales lady, Sam the general sales manager Tom Crane one of the owners had the chance to inflate the price on the Jeep thru the camaflage of lots of different numbers on the paperwork. I caught them in the act 3 different times. First was was over 2000.00 2nd was 1200.00 and the third was 500.00 give or take. They deliberately tried to pull the wool over my eyes and play it off as a mistake. Well shortly after I finally was able to get the deal finished with these dishonest people. I started receiving letters from the cook county tax accessors office that the newly enacted 1 percent tax for cook county residents wasn't paid. Which was Hawks responsibility. It was only 91.00 on one of my trades. That I got 4700.00 trade allowance for. So I had no reason not to believe it wouldn't be paid by Hawk. I mean after all, that is the dealers responsibility. So a couple months goes by, and now I get a second more threatening letter from cook county. Now I call Hawk titles and registration lady JENNIFER SIMON back and demand answers. She apologized and promised it would get paid for sure this time. I forwarded her letter again. So 2 whole years go by and I come to find out it was never paid, and now I have a judgement on my credit bureau for 161.00 penalties,late fees and what not. So I stopped up at Hawk yesterday and spoke to Robert the new general sales manager Robert, and confronted him about how I was outright lied to by this lady JENNIFER SIMON that handles their titles, plates and registration. So Robert leaves me at his desk and goes to talk to owner Joe Crane, whom by the way didn't even have the decency to come and face me. NO CLASS! Owner sends Robert back to tell me they would pay part of judgment. I replied back, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE CRAZY IF YOU THINK I'M PAYING ANY OF THIS ! then I said where is the lady that was supposed to handle this and get it paid? Robert replies she's in the back office busy at the moment. Robert gives me the usual used car salesman malarkey and says he'll look into it and call me. So I get a phone call this evening, Roberts exact words from owner JOE CRANE were as follows. "YOUR ON YOUR OWN! How does this dealership get away with these dishonest practices? So basically Hawk told me to screw off. These people at Hawk are the worst of the worst. Their reviews speak for themselves. Felt like I was dealing with some shady used car lot on western avenue. Disgusts me this is the world we live in that these dealerships can so easily screw the little guy out of money and laugh about it. The owners of Hawk have no CLASS, MORALS, OR BACKBONE to even face a customer with a legit concern. These owners hide behind their little curtain and use their sales managers to pull off the magic acts on good hard working Americans. My advice is to STAY AWAY FROM HAWK AT ALL COSTS! They will get over on you some how some way. More
