Limping along I had some trouble with my 2016 Equinox stumbling and not wanting to accelerate and had loss of power. I called after 5:00 p.m. and was given to Justin Weck’s voicemail. I left him a message and he called me back before he left for the day. I took my vehicle in at 7:00 a.m. and they worked on it to find the problem but it didn’t duplicate the problem. By 5 p.m. that day I was headed back North. Problem Finally Solved Have had this Malibu for one year. The AutoStop has always been a rough start especially with the A/C on. Discussed this with sales people early on and was told "You will get used to It". Things only got worse with gas mileage going down and starting from a light was a slow boat to China. After recent trip to Pennsylvania when I was really concerned that the car was going to quit on me, I called and talked to Justin Weck. He immediately requested that I bring the car in as he suspected the computer needed to be re-programmed. So, I did make an appointment for July 11. About an hour later I was advised by Angus Chu that it was not my imagination. Car is currently running perfectly. No hesitation when engine restarts and it shifts smoothly at normal RPM's. I am assuming this problem could happen again as computers are computers and need normal updates and maintenance. At least I will know it is not something that "I will have to get used to". Many thanks to Justin and Angus. No thanks to sales people whose names I have forgotten. More
