This is our 2nd car purchase in 6 months and I want to say that working with Eric and Kurt was enjoyable!! We have NEVER had this kind of service and satisfaction from any other dealership before. They both are very knowledgable about what they are doing and the customer service is outstanding. They are a pleasure to work with and make purchasing a car much less worrisome than in the past! Not having a make or model really in mind, just certain criteria I knew I wanted my new (used) car to have. I had to have gone to 15+ dealerships in the Wichita area. None of which I felt comfortable at. Not naming any names but, one i went to wouldn't show me a vehicle under $20,000 knowing I wanted to stay at $13,000 ball park...another one showed me a vehicle that I really liked but was priced at $16,000. I explained I didn't want to spend that much and would need to work something out on the price. They told me they can not go down on price. All cars there are already marked down to their lowest. And this was not Carmax! After telling me that there was no wiggle room on the price they tried pushing me in to take the car overnight to show my dad. When expressing my concerns with taking a $16,000 car to my dad telling him there is no room for negotiation, the car salesman told me to lie to my dad and tell him that the car was for $13,000. After leaving I stopped by Scholfield out West, where I was greeted by Eric Smith and felt immediate comfort, after that whole ordeal! While looking online in his office at the cars they had in stock, I came across a car that was just like the one I liked at the other dealership, only this was cheaper, and there was still room for negotiation! Eric informed me about the car, telling me they just got it in and his boss Kurt Bull was currently driving it as a demo. He introduced me to Kurt and brought the car around so I could see it! Kurt graciously gave up his demo ride that night, so that I could take the car overnight and show my dad the next day! In the process I fell in love with the car. I called Eric on my way back the the dealership the next day, explaining that I really like the car but once I drop it off, I have to go to another dealership Because, I already made an appointment there to see two cars the previous day and I wanted to be fair to him. Eric said no problem! After viewing the other cars, I couldn't get back to Scholfield fast enough. I knew I wanted that Chevy Malibu! After talking prices and my budget the team went hard at work to get me everything I wanted! Kudos to Eric, Kurt, and Pat! You guys made shopping for a car fun! And being a woman going alone, that was the one thing I dreaded the most. I feel like i got such a good deal. Not to mention the free lifetime warranty on my car for as long as I own the car. Also to all their customers, you get car washes free, whenever you want them as long as you own the vehicle! I've owned my car only a week, and have been there twice to get it washed! :-) Thank you team for all you have done for me! You will forever have a customer in me! And I have already gave out 4 cards of people I know looking! :-) Happy Mom of 2 More
Over the last 30 years I have purchased a vehicle about every 10 years and, frankly, have never looked forward to the process. I went to the Schofield Hyundai West sales lot to inquire about a 2009 So every 10 years and, frankly, have never looked forward to the process. I went to the Schofield Hyundai West sales lot to inquire about a 2009 Sonata I found at their website. It was my good fortune to be met by John Olson. He was friendly and NOT pushy. After a short drive with John he turned the car over to me so I could take a more leisurely drive and look the car over more closely. Upon my return, I expressed my concern about road noise coming from the tires. Mike from the Service Department took a brief drive with me and confirmed my diagnosis. John then engaged his sales manager, Spencer Cusick, regarding my concern and after a brief conversation Spencer offered a fair adjustment on the price to accomodate a new set of tires. I told John and Spencer I was the type of customer that needed to sleep on the matter. They were very understanding and offered to put a hold on the car until I responded the next morning. That evening I decided to purchase the car. The next morning I met with Ken Bull, the business manager. As with John and Spencer, Ken was very friendly and professional. Ken took care of all the necessary paperwork in a most timely and efficient manner explaining all options and documents to me along the way. John, Spencer, and Ken made a process I was apprehensive about as simple and comfortable as I could have expected! While I may not need to purchase another car soon, I will not hesitate to share my experience with anyone I know to be in need of a new or previously owned car. More
I had wanted a Veloster since they first came out. Matt is very knowledgeable and even though I was not "ready to buy" when I first test drove one, Matt stayed in touch with me and let me know when the vit is very knowledgeable and even though I was not "ready to buy" when I first test drove one, Matt stayed in touch with me and let me know when the vitamin c with a sunroof was on the lot. We purchased a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz today. I absolutely love my car!! Our saleman was Dan Erwin, what an honest and super nice guy. Was looking for a car for a few months. Dan worked with me and kept in touch, but not so much that I became annoyed. We made a good decision on a vehicle and he worked with us. We discovered a few items that needed to be repaired prior to or after purchase and were able to work through that with Dan and Spencer. I am hoping that the service and attitude of the sales staff continues as we visit the dealership for service. More
This was my 4th Scholfield Hyundai since 2004. They are always wonderful to deal with even in unpleasant circumstances.
