My wife and I were looking to replace a car we just sold. We stopped by to see what they had on the lot and decided to look at a Malibu. Eric sold us on a Hyundai Sonata. He showed us all about the car and that it had a remaining factory warranty as well as Scholfield's own powertrain warranty that comes with the car. We took the car overnight and we were sold. I never really thought about a Hyundai because I am a Ford guy but this Hyundai is nice. We love the gas mileage and power it has. Eric, Kurt, and Spencer were great to work with. Let me preface this by saying, I hate buying cars, I hate dealerships, and I am not a huge fan of car sales people. We have been to almost every dealership in the area, we have bought cars from many. I have never had a good feeling about buying a car from any of them. So after our plethora of bad experiences, unfortunately we needed a car, so here we go again. I can't begin to tell you how pleasantly surprised I was by this dealership! Steve Smith, the gentleman that sold us our car was not pushy whatsoever. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and exceedingly helpful. He took all of our concerns seriously, he was just very genuine. He went above and beyond for us, and we greatly appreciate it! The entire atmosphere at this dealership is different. It is very casual, laid back, relaxed, and all of the employees are GENUINELY friendly. It felt great to buy a car from them! There was zero smarminess! I am not going to lie, my husband I are not the savviest car negotiators on the planet - another part of buying a car I hate - we always leave feeling like we have been had. Totally different experience here, they were fair, upfront and most importantly HONEST. We left with a car we absolutely love, AND felt like we got a great deal on it! So my take away from this experience is that the next time we have to buy a car, it is going to be one stop shopping. We are going to this dealership, we will find something on their lot and buy it from them. I can't stress enough how different this dealership is! I would highly recommend this dealership, and Steve Smith as well! So thank you to Steve and the entire Schofield Hyundai West team for giving me my first entirely positive and enjoyable car buying experience! Andy welcomed us as soon as we came on the lot. Upon our request he just let us browse, but when we showed interest in the Trailblazer he was there quickly. He offered us a test drive and we did so. During our drive he explained the warranties that Scholfield offers. We were impressed. He also gave us additional knowledge about the vehicle and we never felt rushed or pressured. As far as the price of the vehicle we were satisfied but still not sure it was the best deal we could have been offered. But we do not feel that was Andy's fault. And on the other hand maybe it was a great deal. Andy introduced us to Brian in finance to finish up our deal. We felt he was a wealth of knowledge regarding finances. As a team they complimented each other very well. They actually made the sale feel appreciated. If we had known more about Scholfield Autos we would have been there before this. My daughter had bought a car from Dan so when I asked her to go up there to look at cars she called him immediately because she said he was very good. We are very happy with the 2013 Sonata and Elantra that we purchased from Scholfield Hyundai. We have purchased 4 Hyundais from Scholfield.
