I'm not sure if I should give 5 stars for the great personal service we got with Richard Garcia, or 1 star for the pathetic know-nothings in the service department. With a new vehicle, you get free s personal service we got with Richard Garcia, or 1 star for the pathetic know-nothings in the service department. With a new vehicle, you get free service and oil changes to 25k miles. Great! I thought my 2021 Venza had a "foot activated" rear hatch, but I couldn't get it to work. So I asked the Toyota service tech if that was a feature on my Venza. He's Toyota service, he'll know, right? He got down on his hands and knees and looked underneath the car. He said "nope, there's no sensor under there, so your car does not have that feature". Darn. But watching you tube videos, I discovered that I was simply not standing far enough back from the car. I positioned myself two feet back, swung my foot under the rear of the car, and wa-laa....it opened automatically. Oh hey, Mr Toyota Service Guy......I DO have a sensor! You didn't know that? You need some training! Now, somehow, the latch on my console broke. On my visit where Mr Service guy made an idiot of himself by saying my Venza does not have a foot activated hatch, I told him about the broken latch, and when I picked up my car, he said the part was ordered. That was my 10k mile oil change/checkup. I'm now needing my 15k mile checkup, and I haven't heard one word from Hatch about my replacement latch. I called 3 different times trying to find out when I could come in to get it installed. I can't get Anyone in service to talk to me. I've left messages, no one calls me back. In frustration, I turned to Richard Garcia (this is NOT his job) and told him of the problem. He talked to service about this, and he was told to tell me that they would call me. That was last week No one has called me. BTW Richard, thank you again for your help, even tho your efforts were futile. I'm told they are short staffed and very busy. I understand being busy. However, Mr Service Guy, do something honorable and take 30 seconds out of your LIFE to just give me a call and ACKNOWLEDGE me. You know, as opposed to tucking your tail between your legs and hiding every time I try to get info about my console part. I have an appointment on Saturday November 27th for my 15k service. I wonder.........will they have my part? It was supposedly ordered 2 months ago! Perhaps it's being delivered from Jupiter? The exciting conclusion to this debacle will soon be revealed! More
Wow! Five Stars is not enough to reflect the service I have received from Eric and the Service Department on my 2021 Tundra. Attempting to track down a "rattle" in my new truck and through the entire pro have received from Eric and the Service Department on my 2021 Tundra. Attempting to track down a "rattle" in my new truck and through the entire process I felt like Toyota and, Eric specifically, were most concerned that I was satisfied with the outcome no matter what it took. Great service experience with John Felt Had our 4runners sunroof motor replaced and airbag recalls done before our warranty expired. Had to come up from phoenix to have it done while visiting family and they went out of there way to make sure it was easy for us. John Felt stayed in touch and on top of everything to make sure it was done early so we didnt need to come back or stay an extra day. He was very professional and friendly on the phone and in person. Then I called the service department in which case the call went directly to voice mail. I left my name, phone number, and service request. The same thing happened. No response, nothing! So, I will visit one of the Toyota dealers in the valley on my next trip there. More
Service Person * * * * * + Preston Walters I purchased my Toyota Corolla two years ago and have gone back for the regular services and they were ok but the previous to this time I thought maybe I purchased my Toyota Corolla two years ago and have gone back for the regular services and they were ok but the previous to this time I thought maybe I would just go somewhere else and I am so glad that I didn't. I made an appointment for my 30,000 mile check up and Preston Walters met me and we chatted about the problems I had been having and they was one problem that I had reported twice before and it still didn't appear fixed. The other two questions were about tires and checking out if I could attach a little trailer. Preston was terrific. He came back with not only verbal answers to my tire and trailer questions AND he had my blue ray fixed (he asked for the phone while servicing and this did the trick) but he actually had paperwork for me to read over with him. So I will always go to Hatch for my Servicing and ask for Preston. Good no GREAT Job service Department at Hatch Toyota Show Low Arizona More
Fantastic Service From the initial reminder I received on my screen of my new Rav4, to the ease of scheduling my 1st scheduled maintenance, coupled with simply hitting From the initial reminder I received on my screen of my new Rav4, to the ease of scheduling my 1st scheduled maintenance, coupled with simply hitting the touch screen to make the call to the Hatch Toyota Service Center in Show Low, it was effortless. It took just a day to get me scheduled, in which Eric Erskine (Service Manager) called me as a reminder of the scheduled appointment. The beauty of it all was that I easily was able to get a 1PM appointment, making it very convenient around much lunch break. Eric was expecting me, and politely greeted me as I entered the service center. He explained things, and I sat down to catch up on my emails. After just 5 minutes, my salesman (Joe Hessinger), whom I had not seen since November 2014 when I purchased the car came over the greet me. My experience with Eric & Joe was proof that "Buying Local" was the right thing to do. I work for Cellular One in Show Low, and that is our company's belief "Buy Local", whenever possible. After speaking with Joe for a few minutes, I went back to catching up on my emails in a very nicely appointed waiting area. I barely got through all of my emails, when Eric walked over to me to let me know my car was ready. He thoroughly reviewed everything that was done on my car, spelled it out very clearly, explained how the synthetic oil did not yet need changing, walked me though when it would need changing, etc. When I asked him where I needed to pay, he said "No Charge - It's part of your 2 Year Toyota Care plan." What a relief! The Parts Department was great too, as they answered some of my detailed questions while I waited. Nicely done Hatch Toyota! Randy Kline More
