When the Dealership I bought the Van went out of business in 2006 I was Left hving to find a new service center for my Van. My wife had a Subaru Forrester that we had serviced at Hassett. We were so Impressed wtih the service she received that I took my Van to Hassett and I have not had it serviced at another dealer since. Bob and the Guys are friendly and professional. They Serviec My van like it was theirs. I use my van for work so when it is down I am not working. Bob and Sean work with the mechanics to get me back on the road as soon as possible. They had to go to another dealer in Bayshore to get a part. ( the plastic around the Fan clutch) they were back and had the part installed in time for me to get back to work with minimal time lost. I am sure when I have to replace my van It will be with a ford which I will have serviced at Hassett Ford. Thanks Jason Green More

I bought a 2008 Subaru Impreza from this dealership used 3 years ago. My issues with this business have nothing to do with the sales department but rather the service department. 4 months after purchasing t 3 years ago. My issues with this business have nothing to do with the sales department but rather the service department. 4 months after purchasing the vehicle in supposed mint condition it began suffering malfunctions with its electrical systems. The service department informed me that it would be a $250 job to change the spark plugs, the ones that were currently installed in the car were not correct. I know nothing about cars and did not change them myself and only had the car serviced one other time for an oil change and did not have the spark plugs changed. This led me to believe that the car was sold to me with those spark plugs. Why they would sell me a car with the wrong spark plugs is beyond me, possibly to acquire some sort of payment from me for repairs that were not covered under the warranty. After arguing with the service advisor who repeatedly denied these blatant facts they provided me with a free oil change... whoopty do! The second and most recurring issue with the car was the air conditioner. Every summer since purchasing the car there has been an issue with the air conditioning at the beginning of the summer. For the two summers the car was under warranty they serviced the car and said it was from various malfunctions. This summer being the first summer the car was not under warranty and the air conditioner once again did not work became an actual nightmare. I called Kenny, the service advisor, at 2:00pm after dropping it off the night before, he said he had no information for me he was going to put it up on the lift now. 25 minutes later he called and said a rock must have gone through my grill while I was driving and destroyed the air conditioner compressor (or whatever the part may be called) and that the repair was going to cost a cool $650. Naturally, I had an issue with this and did not approve the repairs immediately because I wanted to call another trusted mechanic I know to see if that price was fair, he said it would be a costly repair based on their description but should not cost $650. I called Kenny back to let him know I would like to see if I can have the car repaired elsewhere and he had a real problem with this. He told me he could cut the cost down (as a recurring customer, shouldn't I get the best price in the first place) and that I should really just let them handle it. I said no thank you and he tried to tell me they would charge me $150 just for looking at the car. Mind you he only examined the car for 25 minutes! I said this was absurd and I would be down to pick up my car shortly without paying and with my lawyer present if necessary. Kenny and the others in the service department obivously gave me a hard time. I brought my car to another repair shop and this mechanic said the cause of my broken air conditioner was a leaky valve and charged me $65 dollars to change it. That is a $585 difference. I had that repair done in June and I have not had a single problem with the AC ever since. The mechanic I brought the car to said he saw no evidence of any damage that would have been caused by any rock and the rest of the AC system was in good order. I have developed two theories over why I have had such a bad experience with the service department and both are likely to be true. First, that their mechanics are terrible at what they do and could not tell a nut from a bolt. Secondly, that the service station will take any opportunity to swindle a customer out of his or her hard earned money. Besides for these issues every time I called there the woman who answered the phone was horribly rude. I can not recommend that anyone for any reason ever try to do business with this dealership just because of the way that the service department conducts their business. If for some reason you have to buy a car from this dealership you should at all cost avoid the service department because it really will end up costing you. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! More

I have shown up with out an appointment due to an unforseen problem and they have always gone above and beyond to squeeze me in. The staff is friendly and knowledgeble and goes out of their way to make you feel like their most important customer. When the time comes to purchase another new vehicle I will be shopping there!
