I had a Ford Edge that was near the end of it's lease. Tom Cinelli has been "my Ford go to guy" for many years. He was able to search and find a great program and new Edge to meet my requests. He had an Edge model and color I wanted. No pressure & no haggling. It was an easy choice for me to stay with Tom ,( even though there are a few Ford dealers closer to where I live), since I got a good vehicle with many updates at a fair price. Scott was the Finance person at the time. He was clear in his explanation of the paperwork and contract for the lease. He gave me options to consider but there was no pressure to accept the offers. The new (to me) electronic screens took care of all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. I was pleased to see that all at Hassett were wearing masks and there were conveniently located hand sanitizers in the showroom for anyone to use. It was great to be at Hassett Ford - and the Edge is perfect! More

I brought my car in at the appointed time of 9am. Leaving the car. At no time was I told it would not be ready the same day. It was to be a 1-1/2 hour job. When I called at 2 pm I was told it was not yet bei the car. At no time was I told it would not be ready the same day. It was to be a 1-1/2 hour job. When I called at 2 pm I was told it was not yet being worked on and that the dealer was swamped and the car may not be ready the same day. This presented me with problems of picking the car up and having alternate means of transportation. When I told the person I was speaking to she said she was sorry. They then called me at 4:30 to tell me the car was ready obviously taking action after I told the agent I would go elsewhere in the future to buy and service my next Subaru. The idea of appointments and reservations is to have an adequate work force to complete those coming in for service otherwise “appointments” would have little meaning. The system needs work! This is my third time being disappointed in service at Hassett. The first time I was not told that I needed less than half a tank of gas when I come in til the day before service. The second time I was waiting on site while the service was being done and told several people who took in my car. But after waiting over 2 hours for a 30 min oil change I found out that they had not even started the work because they thought I was dropping the car off. After that incident I spoke with the service manager who promised “ improvements” I am afraid Hassett has a long way r to go! Gabe Rothauser More
