I had some issues with battery drain. Took it to the dealer. They were nice and helpful. Unfortunately the battery tested bad. Needed a new battery. Subaru (not the dealer) decided to upg Took it to the dealer. They were nice and helpful. Unfortunately the battery tested bad. Needed a new battery. Subaru (not the dealer) decided to upgrade the batteries in this model (2020 Ascent Touring) to a heavier duty battery because of battery drain problems. The new heavy duty battery would not fit the old battery box so I had to buy a new battery box also. The battery was out of warrantee so it was all on me. Not a cheap battery. So far I have not had any issues with the new battery. Hopefully that will be the case throughout the battery life. During their inspection they also found out my tires were wearing unevenly so I needed a full wheel alignment. More

My wife and I were looking at the crosstrek initially and when we went to the dealer. John Harvey Subaru in bossier city, La. and actually sat in it.. we found it a bit to small for us as our last 2 purchases in the last 25 years were both jeeps. the associate Keyshawn understood and was awesome and showed us the outback. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions we had, took us on a test drive and we were sold! We’ve had it almost a week now and are very impressed. I can’t say enough about how well we were treated at the dealership. Keyshawn(especially him) and the others there deserve an attaboy!! More
