Our Sorento SXL suffered an alternator failure on I-81 Southbound en route to our home in W. NC after 7 years of trouble-free driving at around 97k miles. We like everything about this tech-laden model an Southbound en route to our home in W. NC after 7 years of trouble-free driving at around 97k miles. We like everything about this tech-laden model and we definitely wanted to put more miles on it, having been diligent on the recommended oil and fluid exchange intervals. We also wanted a KIA dealership to work on it, but knew nothing about Hart Motors. We took a local hotel room near Salem’s mall. After we’d had the car dropped at Hart, leaving our contact details on the key-drop packet, we were planning to find a Monday Uber to get over there. The personnel were all kind and helpful, planning to start investigating the issue Monday mid-morning to help us get back on the highway. They insisted their driver Buddy come over and pick us up at the motel and bring us to the Hart lobby in a slick white Telluride. Dealership even offered to help us obtain a lunch if we wanted. Meanwhile they tested & confirmed the alt failure, but then caught some important details as well: a critical battery shim was left out from an earlier AGM battery replacement and the rear wiper blade was dried & shredding - easy to overlook when everyone only concentrates on front wipers. By early afternoon the car was ready to roll. Meanwhile, Jennie, working adjacent the finance office, was super-diligent in waiting patiently a long time on the phone to contact and get us authorized for our KIA authorized extended warranty we’d (originally purchased thru Knoxville Cadillac). Car then ran flawlessly as we confidently headed on to home in W. NC. While waiting, I had checked out some newer inventory and Shane was very relaxed and informative. We had driven to an adjacent state when we found the Sorento, and would have no problem coming back north to Salem VA based on the quality of folks there for both sales and service. Thank you Hart Motors for solving our unexpected distress and flipping it back to the positive! More

I needed a VA State Inspection, oil & filter change and tire rotation for my 2021 RAM 1500. I scheduled with Bert and dropped the truck off the night before.
