I called the dealership early Saturday morning (2/25/2012) to see if they would honor the same discount advertised in the Minneapolis Tribune for a new 2012 Malibu LT. They didn't have a Malibu w (2/25/2012) to see if they would honor the same discount advertised in the Minneapolis Tribune for a new 2012 Malibu LT. They didn't have a Malibu w/leather in the color I wanted, but they gave the same discount for a Malibu LTZ. Extremely happy they allowed the discount for a loaded Malibu. More

I was in the market for a more fuel effecient car and has spent a couple weeks online researching vehicles available. I got it down to 2 that I was interested in. I had made arrangements to go test drive it on a Saturday but was unable to make it so we agreed that I would drive the 45 minutes from where I live on Monday after I got off work. I asked the sales agent to email me if anything happened. Imagine my surpise when, just before I was leaving the building, I checked my "garage" on Findcars.com to see that the car was sold! There was no email. I called the dealership and was informed that yes indeed it sold that morning and that an email had been sent to both my work and home emails...which turned out to be NOT TRUE. So when I got home I called Harry Brown's to inquire about my car. I was put in touch with Helena who quickly suggested that I put a deposit on the car so as not to have the same thing happen again. GREAT THINKING!!! Since my drive to come see the car was about an hour, I greatly appreciated her suggestion. She wasn't there when arrived...but that was excuseable as she was out getting the car washed for me. The rest of the evening was pretty smooth. I couldn't haggle with the price of the car because, from my weeks of research, I knew it was outstanding. The price offered me for my trade was also reasonable...not exactly what I wanted, but it was reasonable. I appreciated the fact that Greg took the time to talk to me and explained the reasoning behind the $$. Helena did seem to be a little taken aback when I informed her that I had already secured my financing before I arrived. I guess not too many people take care of that before they come in? I wasn't prepared to take possession of the car that night; several financial pieces to the transaction couldn't be dealt with that late. So I asked them to fax a purchase agreement to my credit union in the morning and to please email me when this was done. Tuesday morning I called the credit union to inform them of the purchase agreement I had signed. At that time, the agreement had not ben faxed. I got an email from the credit union when it came through. I did NOT, however, receive an email from anyone at Harry Brown's. I waited until the following day to contact Helena and Greg. I got a nice appology from both. It was at that time that I made arrangements to drive to Faribault that evening to finish my transaction. I let them know that I would be arriving at 6pm and that I would have my two small children with me as well. The actual paperwork part of this transaction is the reason I could not give a 5 for total experience. I waited until 7:30pm to get in to do the paperwork. This was a little disappointing since I had let them know when to expect me...and we had to hustle to get there at that time. Had it not been for that little blip...my experience would have been practically perfect. More
Sales team adapted to our short time schedule. They had the car ready for viewing and pick up at scheduled times. Salesman reviewed vehicle specs to answer specific questions prior to the meeting. Buying a new car from Harry Brown's was a very easy process for me. They listened to what we wanted to do. They did not try to sell us something we did not want. It was not high pressure sales. I purchased a BMW from Harry Brown's and when I drove it for about a month, the brakes were loud and squeaking at every stop. I brought my car in to Harry Browns and the customer Service they gave me was s for about a month, the brakes were loud and squeaking at every stop. I brought my car in to Harry Browns and the customer Service they gave me was second to none. The parts needed to be special ordered, and since they know I am a busy person, they picked up my car from my work place, repaired the brakes and returned my car to me. The time saver meant a lot to me. Also, the fact that they took care of the problem, even thought they had initially put new brakes on the car before my purchase, was very professional and considerate. I would reccomend Harry Browns Service Department to anyone who asks me. More
From the time we drove on the lot we were greeted in a prompt and friendly way. We never felt pressure to buy. Every person we encountered was smiling and friendly. It was a very welcoming feeling. I found the truck I was interested in on the internet and I found the truck I was interested in on the internet and called. I was connected to Carson, I set up a time to come in for a test drive. Carson was very knowledgeable about the truck and answered all my questions. I was trading my current truck so the next step was seeing what the trade-in value was. I was a little taken back by the first offer for my truck, but everyone thinks their vehicle is worth more than it probably is. We did finally agree on a compromised price for my truck and made the deal. This process took a little longer than I would have liked, but I know some was my fault. Carson was very friendly and nice through this whole process trying to be the "middle man" in this. It was on to Heidi, who at the time was busy with another couple, so we had to wait. When we did get in there, Heidi was very nice and did her job well. I know the extended warranty is part of the process but it would be nice if it could get done another way. Everyone at the dealership, that we met or dealt with were very good and played their parts well. The two ratings lower ratings I gave, Overall Experience (3) was mainly for the length of time this all took, approx. 5 hours, and the Price, it was good, but not great. I made the deal so I'm happy with it. The truck I bought is everything I was looking for and more, possibly more options than I needed. Only time will tell if my decision to spend a little more than I was, is going to pay off. More

It had been years since I had purchased a vehicle and they explained the process in good detail and were able to assist me in getting an excellent deal on financing. The vehicle that I purchased cost a very reasonable amount and it was so nice to have a fair price from the get go and not have to worry about awkward negotiations. You can really tell the difference between sales people at commission-based dealerships and the ones at Harry Brown's. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable. The only downfall was that it took much longer than I expected to finalize the process once I arrived at the dealership. I had completed the financing application over the phone and notified them that I would have a trade-in. Despite this, it took nearly 2.5 hours to take a brief test drive, assess my trade-in, and complete paperwork. It was late afternoon and I had a long drive ahead of me, so if I could make a suggestion, it would be to discuss the additional options available for purchase (extended warranty, loan gap coverage, zurich shield, etc.) with the customer while the trade-in evaluation is being completed, as these two took up a significant portion of time. Other than that, a very efficient and enjoyable experience. The people at Harry Brown's really set them apart, and I look forward to referring family and friends to them. I left feeling great about the purchase that I made and I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you to everyone at Harry Brown's who assisted me! Your customer service skills are exceptional! More
