Once the sale is made they dont return your calls unless they feel the deal is in jeopardy. I dont need lies, I need a respectible dealer that is truthful and knowledgeable about the product. Upon reading the review of cubeiswmi, I have to concur. I was looking for a used Taurus back in 1997 and went to Harr. I found one that I liked and they insisted on a $200 deposit. Later that day, I foun I was looking for a used Taurus back in 1997 and went to Harr. I found one that I liked and they insisted on a $200 deposit. Later that day, I found the same car for a great price at Saturn of Worcester and ended up buying it there. When I went back to Harr, they refused to give me my deposit back. They denied that I'd even given it to them. When I showed them the receipt, they said that it was non-refundable (even though the paperwork clearly stated that it is refundable). I argued and threatened and was on the verge of filing a small claims suit when I finally received a check for $200 in the mail (after 2 1/2 months!!). Bottom line: GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The prices suck and the tactics are way below reproach. More
I am currently in the military and home from training and needed a car in a bad way. I looked around for a specific used car in my tri state area, connecticut, mass, and Rhode Island. I found the car at ha needed a car in a bad way. I looked around for a specific used car in my tri state area, connecticut, mass, and Rhode Island. I found the car at harr toyota in mass and told the sales person that i would be up as soon as possible seeing as though i didn't want the car to get away. When i was there they said they needed $200 to hold the car and that when the deal was complete they would refund my $200. I was apprehensive with this because i really couldn't afford to give up the money but since Jason assured me that i would receive it back the next day when the sale was complete i agreed to do it. Well now the sale is done and they say that they though the $200 was part of the deal when i specifically told them it wasn't and have a friend that was my ride at the time as a witness. Also when they were writing up the paperwork i saw that they had the $200 in there and i corrected them at that time that the $200 was not part of the deal and that it was only used to secure the car while i was to get insurance and registration straitened out.
