Derek Houde immediatey approached me when we arrived in the parking lot to look at new cars. His demeanor was friendly but not pushy. He was knowledgable and bent over backwards for us. Even though I liv the parking lot to look at new cars. His demeanor was friendly but not pushy. He was knowledgable and bent over backwards for us. Even though I live in Worcester, I have purchased my last three Camrys at other dealerships in the state because of the negative treatment received from the salesmen at Harr (the last car being a 2002 Camry). My favorable treatment from Derek continued when I picked the 2011 Camry up yesterday. The car was ready and Derek spent a long time teaching me how to use all the gadgets in the car, from the navigation system to the radio and everything in between. He was patient and thorough. He also introduced me to one of the service managers which was iomportant to me since I will be having the car serviced at Harr. I am an administrator at Holy Cross College and I am often asked where to buy a car. If this service continues to be excellent, I will not hesitate to refer buyers to Harr. I never would have done this in the past. Thank you Ann Zelesky More

Laura sold us a 2011 Toyota Tacoma. She was very personable, friendly and easy to do business with. She also talked to us about other cars because we may buy one in the next 6 to 12 months. Harr Toyota by far is the WORST dealership for customer service. Their professionalism is non existant as they let customers sit for hours to attempt to make what they feel is a great deal. In my 5 hrs I service. Their professionalism is non existant as they let customers sit for hours to attempt to make what they feel is a great deal. In my 5 hrs I wasted waiting to make a deal, I overheard the salesmen laughing at several of the customers that were there that day regarding trades and financing. That is unacceptable behavior on anyone's part. I dealt with Domonic who is friendly if you settle at a deal he thinks is good but as soon as you challenge him he becomes extremely rude. Branco in financing speaks little English and tries to pad the sale behind the scene with extended warantees but makes it sound as if he's giving it to you for free. Nothing is free in life, Branco. They also figure the initial monthly payment at 8%. I was approved for 6% however they never changed my payment to reflect the 6%. This dealership can't be trusted and lost the opportunity to sell 2 vehicles. I should have gone to Herb Chambers initially where I got an outstanding deal and excellent customer service. More
This place is filled with liars cheats and frauds. They will fast talk you into things you don't need and don't want. Especially if you have bad credit....DON"T finance a car here unless you want to pay fo will fast talk you into things you don't need and don't want. Especially if you have bad credit....DON"T finance a car here unless you want to pay for it twice. They will throw paper work in front of you hoping your not smart enough to notice all the hidden fees they throw in. They are you best friend until you sign the paperwork and then you are only a bother who is given false hope and lies. The staff may seem friendly at first but TRUST ME....THEY HATE YOU! DONT SIGN ANYTHING HERE UNLESS YOU ARE 100 percent sure what you are getting into. The managers here lie more than the sale people. It is a miracle Toyota corporate doesn't pull their license. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. More
Did my price shopping on Edmunds and Consumer Reports. Bought a 2011 Sienna LE. Their price without haggling was less than edmunds TMV and consumer reports "negotiate up from" price. All their cars have a Bought a 2011 Sienna LE. Their price without haggling was less than edmunds TMV and consumer reports "negotiate up from" price. All their cars have a sell for price on them that is very competitive. I also got prices from four other dealers via email. I made it clear they were competitively bidding and had one shot at it. Harr beat them all. I'm not suggesting to just go and lay down your cash without research. Do your research and then compare to Harr. The experience was low pressure, friendly and efficient. Warning.....All dealers will try to sell you extras at the time you are about to sign the paperwork. Extended warranties, simonize etc. Don't buy them. If you choose a extended warranty or accessory only buy it if it is a factory product. The reality is you cant buy extended warranties through a manufacturer. They are always some other warranty company and they are not worth it. Resist the temptation, do not give in. Also prepare yourself to pay a "advertising fee". Every dealer will get you for $300 or so in dealer advertising fee. They also get you for a document fee, about $150. Ask about these fees when you get the price. Then ask for a complete written outline of the "amount financed with tax and all fees" before agreeing to any deal. Make sure you understand everything and ask lots of questions. Don't drive into the dealer with your "trade" Cut a deal first, get it in writing. Lie if you have to about the existence of your trade. After you have a deal consider offering your trade. Know what your trade is worth. Do your internet pricing. Write it down, have your notes with you. Stick to your guns. Car salesman are slick and move faster than you can interpret. Remember, your trade is something the dealer can make a lot of money on. They usually make more on your trade than the new car you are buying. Presenting a trade at the time you negotiate a deal confuses the process and will never work in your favor. Also, never trade in a car you are still making payments on. Finish paying for it first.
