Hassle-free, courteous and respectfully professional. TJ Jahanagir was great. My only complaint was Chevrolet’s decision to put the Owner’s manual exclusively on line. Not a reasonable or decent idea! Bu TJ Jahanagir was great. My only complaint was Chevrolet’s decision to put the Owner’s manual exclusively on line. Not a reasonable or decent idea! But JT generously agreed to get me a hard copy. Thank you. More
Typical dealership games when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. Salesman says someone else is interested in the same vehicle, trying to force you to put money down to hold the vehicle. Say they’re not m vehicle. Salesman says someone else is interested in the same vehicle, trying to force you to put money down to hold the vehicle. Say they’re not making any margin on the sale, thus there’s no negotiation in price. Salesman never followed up despite my stated interest in a vehicle. My assessment is they are a high volume dealership and put little value or effort in the customer experience. They figure if you don’t buy the vehicle, someone else will. Disappointing! More
I had the pleasure of purchasing a new vehicle at Hare Chevrolet. Kelsie Leach was so helpful and knowledgeable. She made the buying process quick and easy. She was very personable and down to earth. I have been to Hare twice and both times were disappointing. I had a minor issue where the black bowtie emblem broke off as a family member left the tailgate up and it popped off when it hit the disappointing. I had a minor issue where the black bowtie emblem broke off as a family member left the tailgate up and it popped off when it hit the garage door. I went and asked for a quote to repair and replace and the parts girl seemed a little annoyed to have to go outside and look at the issue. After looking at the issue, she found the part number and said it would be $60 just for the part and likely 3-4 of labor to change out the broken emblem as they would likely need to remove the silver bar that it attaches to. I found the replacement part on Ebay for $21 and it literally snapped into the silver bar and took approximately 5 seconds to snap into place. My next issue with Hare was when one of my USB-C ports in the rear of the center console went out. Shawn the service manager said that the usb-c port was "mangled" due to improper plugging in and therefore would not qualify as a warranty repair. My kids aren't super delicate, but they use the USB-c port alot and from the naked eye there was no difference between the broken port and the one right beside it. Anyways - I didn't feel like they were trying to help, rather place blame on kids that use it. They ended up giving me a quote for $246 to replace the "mangled" usb-c. When I went to pick it up, they added a $35 shop fee charge with the description that they used $35 worth of "shop supplies" to replace the usb-c. I get that there may be a "shop fee" charge, but common sense would tell you that they didn't use $35 for this job. If this is a charge for every repair, at the very least, it should've been disclosed on the quote for repair. The actual USB-C replacement part was $29 (they charged $66) so had I known they were going to add $35 I wouldv'e just ordered the part and tried to replace it myself. I'm all about supporting local businesses but when they are super greedy and don't look out for the customer, I will take my business elsewhere. I requested a call from the owner and never heard from anyone... More
