There were ups and downs, but it worked out. The car I was looking at was listed on Carguru for 14,790, however once all the initial paperwork was handled it was priced at ~17,000 and the loan wa The car I was looking at was listed on Carguru for 14,790, however once all the initial paperwork was handled it was priced at ~17,000 and the loan was calculated towards that. I noticed it and pointed out the price I saw, it was changed. Fantastic. After speaking with a outside source, we came to the conclusion that the price per month was a bit extreme considering the interest rate, my credit is poor. I won't lie, however my co-sign is 700+. 18% is a bit outrageous considering the model of car I purchased is 5 years old. With that said I requested both Gap and an extended warranty be included at the price of the car. This is where it got tricky. The sales associate got approval, however it was not included as part of the 14,790 it was completely added onto the price of the car causing the loan to go up(I did not realize this until I was already in the finance office signing papers, first time I actually saw the new change). Not so fantastic. The car is great, I wish it had been raining when I checked it out however, I would have been able to notice the windshield wipers do not turn off once turned on. Interesting, right? Not their fault, can't blame them for that. Here is the kicker though, the MSRP on the car I purchased is valued higher than I spent, much, much higher. It was a slight oversight, but hey I am not complaining about anything. Thanks for business folks. Perhaps provide a bit more transparency to your customers, but other than that all went alright.
