Made a service appointment (still covered under Toyota Care) and specifically selected an oil change as part of the service, I also had received a recall notice related to a potentially lose bolt in my re Care) and specifically selected an oil change as part of the service, I also had received a recall notice related to a potentially lose bolt in my rear axle. Upon speaking with the technician, he informed me that they were out of stock of the replacement part related to the recall and they could fix it during my next service appointment, that was fine with me. I was quoted a 90 minute wait and that was fine, my truck was ready after 90 minutes waiting in the showroom. I was very disappointed after I reviewed my invoice (once I got home). Not only did they not change my oil, but the service they claimed to have perform, a tire rotation, was a not actually performed. When I arrived my front passenger tire was 3-4 PSI below all the other tires (it was a very slow leak). When I checked the tire pressure at home, the same front passenger tire was low. I am confident they did not rotate my tires. I’m wondering what they actually did to my truck while I was waiting 90 minutes. They didn’t change my oil, rotate my tires, top off my washer fluid, fix the issue related to the recall. I also doubt they measured my brakes considering they didn’t take the tires off my truck. I’m very dissatisfied with the service, they could have saved me 90 minutes by telling me they didn’t intend on doing any work to my truck. Not only did I waste a bunch of time, I now need to go back to the dealership to buy a new oil filter, go to Walmart to buy oil (out of my own pocket), and do an oil change on truck that is covered under “Toyota Care”. They are slow to greet customers with appointments; I waited about 25 minutes for a service writer to come out of their office and begin the process of writing up my service request. I spent over $2,500 for routine major servicing, which no one reviewed with me after all of the work was completed, and my car was dirty when I picked it up on the morning the work was completed. More
