This is my first visit to the service department there. I asked to have my drivers seat covered with a plastic disposable cover before my oil change began. The service counter person said they were out of them. The cashier next door said she had a roll and pointed to them. It never got put in. I have light gray leather seats, very hard to clean. The previous Hyundai Dealer I had been to gave my car a complimentary car wash after every service. This didn’t happen either. I am considering taking my servicing out to the dealership in Concord. It’s a twenty mile trip but will be well worth it. More
My car was broken into a week before my appointment to get an anti theft device - I was quoted a price to repair the theft damage and called back 15 min later to proceed with repairs, and they kept my car get an anti theft device - I was quoted a price to repair the theft damage and called back 15 min later to proceed with repairs, and they kept my car for 4 days before reaching back out asking if I wanted repairs. The attendant admitted he didn't know how to access the voicemail box (?!) and never got my message. It took an additionally 4 business days for my car to be ready for pickup, and then the anti theft device turned out to be a steering wheel lock that doesn't even fit my steering wheel. I called the day I picked it up once I got home and realized that the steering wheel lock doesn't, stated I needed a replacement that works for my vehicle. It has now been another business day and they have still not returned my call. I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied. More

I was DENIED using my HYUNDAI PROMOTIONAL MAILER COUPON by the Hanlee’s Hilltop Hyundai Dealership. I bring my car to the closest Hyundai dealership (Hanlees Hilltop Hyundai) for ALL service appointmen by the Hanlee’s Hilltop Hyundai Dealership. I bring my car to the closest Hyundai dealership (Hanlees Hilltop Hyundai) for ALL service appointments, despite the distance and the time it takes out of my day. My house is 18 miles from Hanlees Hilltop Hyundai. That’s about 36 MILES round trip and a minimum of 1 HOUR driving time, Plus factor in the time it takes to inspect and service my car, and the day is ‘gone.’ I booked an appointment for 10/23/23 to get the “Anti-theft Recall/Upgrade” and also booked a “scheduled Service”. I took my various Hyundai promotional mailers with coupons to my appointment and I used the $189 mailer coupon for my SERVICE. I had planned to also use a $15 Wiper Blade coupon from a DIFFERENT Hyundai promotional mailer to replace my Wiper Blades while I was at the dealership for the free ANTI-THEFT upgrade. Coincidentally, my wiper blades FAILED your multipoint safety inspection, and REPLACING THE WIPER BLADES was the recommendation of the Service Department. BUT…the Hanlee’s Hyundai dealership Service Department REFUSED to accept my $15 Wiper Blade coupon stating that I “can only use ONE coupon per visit” and I had already used my $189 service coupon. Surely allowing me to also use my ‘$15 for wiper blades’ coupon should have been accepted in this case, since the wiper blades had FAILED your safety inspection. NOTE: This year’s rainy season has just started in California. Noe, in order to use my $15 HYUNDAI PROMOTIONAL COUPON for new wiper blades, I will have to make ANOTHER service appointment, which means driving ANOTHER 36 miles round-trip, and dedicating yet ANOTHER DAY to ensuring my car is safe and reliable at all times. REDRESS: FREE REPLACEMENT WIPER BLADES FRONT AND REAR, and a Priority appointment for the earliest open date/time that I have available. More
We drove from Marin for an appointment to fix a recall issue. But they couldn’t do the “repair” because a “computer was down.” Perhaps this is a one-off problem. If so, no big deal but we wouldn’t have issue. But they couldn’t do the “repair” because a “computer was down.” Perhaps this is a one-off problem. If so, no big deal but we wouldn’t have driven to the appointment had we known.Because we were going to be there anyway and we had received a post card saying the car needed servicing, we asked that they do that work whatever that turned out to be. Our monthly Blue Link email said everything was fine so it was confusing. Turned out to be a tire rotation that probably wasn’t needed because we only had 7000 miles on the car. More
Overbooking: Took an hour and a half to process me for a 10:00 AM appointment for a repair that would take an additional 2 hours but actually took 3 (appeared that someone took a break without arranging a r 10:00 AM appointment for a repair that would take an additional 2 hours but actually took 3 (appeared that someone took a break without arranging a replacement during her absence), however, my rep seemed to cut me a break on the labor cost, since it was a short repair. He even offered me a big break if I replace both headlamps, but it would still cost me upwards of $600. On the other hand, I don't think I'll be buying a car from this dealership again, since I had no idea that one headlamp would cost me upwards of $375 just for the part?!? I would prefer to trade in elsewhere, where the dealership values the customer enough to give them fair warning. More
