I made my appointment online for this service center and was given a price for the services I selected of $650.95. When I took the car in, the service advisor, Jason, was friendly and said they would check was given a price for the services I selected of $650.95. When I took the car in, the service advisor, Jason, was friendly and said they would check the car out and he would call me. I said I wanted an oil change, which I had a coupon for, and windshield wipers replaced. Both of these services were services that were included in the price I got when I made the appointment online. When Jason called me back he indicated that my car needed spark plug replacement, the oil change, the change of the engine filter, and the cabin, filter, and transmission fluid exchange. For those services, he said it would be over $2000. I told him that I was not prepared to pay that at this time. I also told him that some of the services he was quoting me on were included in the $650 quote I have been given. He disputed that, and said there was no way they could do the work I was saying the quote had offered for $650. He gave me his email and asked me to send a copy of the quote. I agreed & asked him to recap the things he said I needed. He became very short with me, and seem to have some type of attitude. I sent him a screenshot of the quote that I had received online along with all the services that were included for that price, which included spark plugs change, which he had told would cost me over $400 by itself. I also asked him not to proceed with any work, including the work that I had previously asked for, the oil change, and the windshield wipers, until we spoke again. When I called back to discuss the email I had sent, he was very short with me and told me the oil change and windshield wipers had already been done. I told that him not to do any more work and that I would pick up the car. The price this dealership was going to charge me for that work was ridiculous. Jason‘s argumentative attitude was also very offputting. This is why I would probably not refer anyone to Hanlees to get work done on their car, which is a shame, because I have a history of getting work done on my vehicles at the service center. They called me to say that my truck was ready, but when I got there they told me that I would have to bring it back to get the warranty work done because they have to order the parts .
