Yesterday I brought my car in for service, my car had been under the care program, last time my care was serviced it was at 80,000 mile I’m now over 90,000 & didn’t realize my service plan was up. I asked for my regular service that I have gotten for over 15 years on the on the Toyotas that I have owned over the years. I was never given a price so I assumed my care was still under service, but no after the work was done I was hit with the bill. I asked why I was told this in the begin they said it’s on the paper we gave you, I said the unsigned paper that ask for a signature to approve the service. I didn’t argue I paid, but I thought it was horrible not to make it clear More
They tried to sell me 4k worth of service work that I did not need. I went to Roseville Toyota to have them look the following day and they informed me that none of that service was necessary/needed. Two appointments, 6 hours plus each, forgot to put on new shocks in the rear. That was the reason for the appointments. After second was told vehicle was done. After looking new shocks were not put on just t shocks in the rear. That was the reason for the appointments. After second was told vehicle was done. After looking new shocks were not put on just the bushings. Later shocks were found. Then told it was going to be another hour. After telling them it need to be done in 30 minutes then they said they would. Both appointments car was dropped off at 0830. First one did not have the parts at 2pm and car was picked up. Second appointment, car was dropped off at 0830 and told it was done at 3pm. But the shocks were not replaced and stayed until 4pm. 7 hours to replace bushing then to forget the shocks which is the main reason car was there. More
