Awful Customer Service I’ve had a few good experiences wifh this branch. However, I had just experienced THE WORST customer service, so bad that I end up crying. People are I’ve had a few good experiences wifh this branch. However, I had just experienced THE WORST customer service, so bad that I end up crying. People are usually nice and willing to help in my past experiences. I set up an qppoinment to get my oil change. The 4th time I’m coming in, I was told that I didn’t have maintenance package when I came last time and the person took care of it for me with just one quick call. The person helping me kept telling me the difference between having an extended warranty and maintenance. So I called my dealership all the way from the Bay Area. Of course, they told me that I do have it (given that I’ve used it in the same location before) and gave a phone number for them to call. The person helping me says “okay let me try calling” sounding annoyed and condescending. When the voice came on he immediately says “this is a warranty company your maintenance is not covered” puts it on speaker and says “its a warranty company here let me put it on speaker so that you can hear”. He continued to explain to me the difference again sounding like I don’t understand and sounding very annoyed. If he didn’t want to help me, he could have just said sorry you have to pay and sent me away instead of wasting my time. Little did he know that the warranty company also covers maintenance because instead of actually trying to talk to a representative he’s too busy telling me I don’t know what I’m talking about because I’m just a mere college student. Tire Check Failed to See Problem - 3x Dealership generally good but three times Tire Pressure light went on, 3x I went in to have it checked (to their credit they said bring it in and we'l Dealership generally good but three times Tire Pressure light went on, 3x I went in to have it checked (to their credit they said bring it in and we'll take a look) and 3x they said it was a sensitive warning light triggered (maybe) by cold morning weather or other sensitivities. Reset, topped off air pressure in tires, and away I went. Till next time. And time after that. Drove from Davis to Boise and on way light again went on. Determined when tire pressure light next went on I would drive till tire was visually flat and did so around Boise. Next took car to Les Scwhab, and within fifteen minutes they determined I had a puncture in tire, sealed it, topped off pressure, informed me there was some dry rot around tire and tires would eventually need to be replaced, and handed me the keys with no charge for the work. Simple and quick courteous and done right the first time. Hanlees was simple and quick and courteous but failed to get it right the first time. Second time. And third time. Will look to buy set of tires during next trip to Boise. More
Don't buy a car here Bought new car, but am only handed 1 key. I’m told they will mail me the 2nd key. A few days later… Me: “When I getting my second key?” Them: “L Bought new car, but am only handed 1 key. I’m told they will mail me the 2nd key. A few days later… Me: “When I getting my second key?” Them: “Let me get back to you by end of today” Next day… Me: “You guys didn’t get back to me yesterday” Them: “I called the guy and told him to call you” Few days later… Me: “Nobody called me” Them: “I’ll remind them to call you” Next day… Me: “Didn’t you remind someone to call me?” Them: “We wrote it down to call you. We’ll remind the guy again” It took them nearly 2 weeks after numerous follow-ups on my part for them to do what's right. I commend them for doing that, but I had to jump through many hoops to make it happen. More

Horrible service I would not even give one star unless I had to. I have gone to get my oil change from Hanlee's Toyota for about a year now, and it did not matter that I would not even give one star unless I had to. I have gone to get my oil change from Hanlee's Toyota for about a year now, and it did not matter that I had an appointment every time. I pull up to the driveway (where it says "wait here for service") and no one comes out for 10 minutes. This is not an exaggeration! I go inside and ask if there is someone who can help me, and without looking at me, they usually just go to the car and start checking in. No greeting, no questions, no customer service. I would rather drive 45 minutes out of town so I don't have to deal with rude employees. When I ask them simple questions about my car, they dismiss it and basically imply that I am not doing something right. They just don't want to spend the time checking it, even though its covered under warranty! WHAT A SCAM. They always rush me out, and then spend over an hour and a half on my car each time, even though I have an appointment. They also tell me it'll take longer if I leave and they have to call me. Its quicker if I stay in the lobby? That makes no sense! Shouldn't they just service the cars as they come in? Its so infuriating. They once quoted me $700+ for a 30,000 mile inspection. IT WAS UNHEARD OF. Were they putting gold bars in my car? I brought it to another Totoya dealership out of town and paid $120 and got exceptional service. More

The manager will always deny their faults, and said these scratches were not done at their place. I have no evidence so I can do nothing to it, and that is why are so bold. They even threaten me not to serve me if I keeping expressing my unhappiness. They are the people who cannot be trusted! I will never let them do anything on my car, and will try some other dealers even if I will drive a longer distance. If you love your car, trust me, NEVER LET THEM SERVE YOU! More

3 years of being a regular yet they treat me like I'm no one I have been using their services for 3 years and honestly the only reason that makes me use their services is that they are the closest Toyota dealers I have been using their services for 3 years and honestly the only reason that makes me use their services is that they are the closest Toyota dealership to where I live. They have a meaningless appointment system that if you schedule an appointment they won't even check your name and you will be counted as a walk-in customer. They don't prioritize their customers based on their system, it's just a joke to them. All this being said, they have too many customers that come for parts and services every day and therefore they are simply not able to take each customer patiently and care about their concerns. One time I even received my car with a crack on the front window glass, and they didn't even mention their mistake. And after I showed them what has happened to my car while they were changing the oil, they simply said and I quote "don't worry, we won't charge you!" like if I would be happy about it!! They have a very nice manager (service advisors) that listens to you very calmly but once you are out of the office, he will do absolutely nothing. If you come back again in just 2 weeks, he won't even remember you! Regarding their pricing, I have never heard from any of my friends in Davis who go there saying that they even have a fair pricing. Every part is at the highest possible price over there and they won't even explain why. Even the labor work costs much more than you can expect. The worst part is their estimations. Just recently they told me that my car needs 90 minutes for changing the tire pressure sensors (including the inspection) at max but eventually it happened after 150 minutes. The estimated cost was $72 but they charged me $320. The only thing that they thought will make me become silent was a 10% discount which I didn't even ask for. Not even an apology from the service advisor. Nothing. More
