Problem: horn not working (critical need) Estimate / charge: 2hours@$205(inv.352326)+1.5 hr@$888(inv 352336)to fix: ouchj! No diagnostic report received from inspecting mechanic. Immediate service was offered (next day)---good! Personal Internet search for OME Toyota #8430747020 describes "airbag clockspring components", with a total of 9 sub-parts shown. The horn is not mentioned. 9 parts affected? Really? (and none of them referencing the horn) No mention of air-bag related problem during diagnostic phase. Next day: work completed, in 1.5 hrs, as promised--good, but price seemed way too high, and no after-completion report from mechanical technician provided. No offer nor opportunity to inspect parts replaced. Overall, Service Agent was courteous and pleasant. I am left with a state of dis-belief and maybe some disgust that I just paid close to $1100 to get the horn connected and working. What do you think? More
