Back to our regular scheduled programming Sales Experience: While my final sales experience at Hanford Hyundai was relatively smooth, I noticed some concerning tactics. The salesperson demonstrated skills that, while polished, felt more aimed at closing a deal than genuinely understanding my needs as a customer. Potential buyers must stay vigilant and not get swept up in a friendly demeanor; there's much more beneath the surface. I later learned that Curtis Reiggleman, the second in charge of the six dealerships owned by the Fahrney automotive group—Hanford Hyundai, Tracy Nissan, Fahrney Ford, Fahrney Buick GMC, Toyota of Selma, and my carpark—creates YouTube videos to teach salespeople how to manipulate customers to “do what they want.” This insight added another layer of caution, making me reflect on the strategies employed during my visit. Negotiation and Pricing: During the negotiation, I found that the dealership employed various strategies designed to benefit them only. I faced pressure regarding add-ons like warranties and interest rates; however, with the knowledge I've gained about car buying, I could negotiate $4,000 off the price. This experience taught me the importance of being informed and assertive in such situations. While I ultimately secured a fair deal, it was because i did my homework and knew their sleazy, manipulative tactics and how to overcome them. Not because they run a fair, honest dealership. I encourage others to be cautious and do their homework on how this dealership does business. It's all about making money while “making the customer believe” they are getting a good deal(manipulating/lying). Lastly, Understanding your worth as a customer makes a significant difference in the outcome of your negotiations. Marcos, find a dealership that values your customer service and people skills and teaches you to be honest, not just use you as a mouthpiece for their horrible way of manipulating customers to make money. Dealership advertised a price and their MSRP online and on the car. They told me to come on in and let me know the payment. When I got there the finance manager changed everything he added all these addit on the car. They told me to come on in and let me know the payment. These fees were not posted on the car until after I complained about them, then they ran out to the car and added the addendum that was suppose to already be on the car prior to me trying to purchase it. This is fraud and deception under the vehicle code. The finance manager let me know that at the end of the day they were a business. I just didn't know they were a corrupt business. I left this car lot and went and purchased the same car at a different dealership for the MSRP saved myself approximately 10,000 dollar. Be award of this business. very deceptive will follow up with DMV, BBB and civil action. More

In fact they acted like they didn't really know what I wanted, and didn't seem to care. Do not give them your business. Celest, was the first sales person to approach me and was very helpful, friendly and NOT PUSHY. She knew the product she was selling and was accommodating to my requests. This salesmen is one of the first that I ran into in years that actually listened to ma, even though I was sometime rude and talked over here. This Dealer needs a whole new team or new management to control the staff in place because no one answers the phones, and if they do they are so Rude, makes you feel the staff run the place the way they li control the staff in place because no one answers the phones, and if they do they are so Rude, makes you feel the staff run the place the way they like or just for the people they know, and with few times I tried to go there they are always late on a work schedule and I don't understand why they are not working on Saturday and Sunday on care services like all the other Hyundai dealers, I really stopped going there and I prefer to drive to Visalia or Fresno and not deal with staff in that place. Let me tell you how crooked hanford hyundai is. Took my wife's car to get a recall taken care of. They did an inspection on it an told me that the oil pan had a hairline crack in it. I said ok. The lady said I could not use it because I didn't have my oil change at hyundai. So I came home looked at my warranty an the oil pan is covered under the warranty. I called the warranty company and the person I spoke to yes the oil pan was covered. So went to hyundai spoke to the service manager. She was worthless. Sheila is her name. Explained my side an asking how about taking care of a customer. Basically they denied my claim saying the place I take to get the oil change was at fault. I went to the place i change my oil. I explained to them what hyundai said. They said they would look into it an assured me that they could prove they tighten the drain plug according to hyundai standards. They put it on the rack an low a behold. No hairline crack on the oil pan. They showed me a video of the pan an showed me. First was happy then pissed because of what hyundai told me. I called 2 other hyundai dealers. Both told me they would change the oil pan no question since under warranty. But they could not since hanford hyundai put in a caim an falsely accused my oil changer. Hanford hyundai just lost my business More

I worked with Celeste Rodriguez on the trade in and the pricing of the new Palisade by phone and email and in a short time we had a deal . I made the trip over to Hanford an everything was ready. Celeste went over everything with me twice before I left for home. Great service and very knowledgeable about the product. I will purchase again and highly recommend them. More
