My son bought his Tacoma 8 years ago from Handy, and has had all is service done there. He has spent over $5k in the last few months. One of his visits he was over charged by $300 dollars, and thankfully on had all is service done there. He has spent over $5k in the last few months. Prior to his last $3k worth of service, I called Allen Brown about the estimate of $500 for spark plugs. He said in was wrong and the actual estimate was $200. It was still overcharged, and a correction check was mailed. When the truck was dropped off, a 10% coupon was presented for previously recommended services. This was was not deducted on the bill. I talked to some service manager and he said the 10% was up to $1000. I told him there is no limit mentioned on the coupon and he had me fax him a copy to 802-528-2291 and said he would get back to me. We did get another check in the mail for $100 (10% of 1k not 3K), I never got an explanation. My son is handicapped and trusts everyone. We are used to people taking advantage of him. As his dad and financial guardian, I am trying to look out for his interest. He works everyday, but does not make big money and every dollar counts. I am not sure that we can trust Handy to do our service anymore.
